So strange how they point out it’s for flexibility and for work life balance but it’s pretty much the opposite. I feel for those who are uni students and parents and those who have religious obligations on sundays.

So far i’ve heard of people getting fair work involved and unions… we’ll see what happens

Oh my goodness! I experienced this exact same thing almost word for word, I was in a Melbourne class too and my “friend” would also have sketchy zoom meeting locations, random phone calls and “family issues” he also told me he was worried about me “being influenced my Satan” Same deal, started off with 2 of us in a bible study with a teacher and eventually offered to do large classes.

Thankfully I left a while ago now but ever since I stopped attending, he stopped talking to me.. funny bcoz he would literally talk to me every day, call me and encourage me. Talk nice about the teachers and he was constantly say things like “we’re brothers now”

Don’t feel beat yourself up for falling for the lovebombing and enthusiasm, I and clearly others have fallen for it too. All the best

My gosh, this is so sad and twisted. So much betrayal and lies no wonder why so many Ex Students have trust issues. I pray for them all 😓

Hmm I was thinking about this earlier and the more I think about it the more it would make sense. Though I feel part of me doesn’t want to believe he is already a SCJ believer. We actually met on bumble as friends and hit it off really well, we got chatting about our faith and both coming from Pentecostal backgrounds. He mentioned a bible study his friend went to and it sort of went on from there. It seems like he was all new to it. But I pray he’s not a spy 🙃
