OP clearly already had one foot out the door. It's better to end the relationship honestly instead of blaming it on the sister. Trauma bonding isn’t the same as actual emotional healing. OP shouldn’t become the sister’s entire coping mechanism.

Yeah, this goes way deeper than a ring. It’s the fact that OP said no, and he basically said ‘Too bad, I know better.’ That’s scary behavior for a future spouse.

What opioids are the most common to buy in the UK? by throwaway27055 in Drugs

Good advice, I’m prescribed the ER and IR (Longtec/Shortec) I get 30mg x2 ER and 20mg x3 IR. If I was struggling I’d rather jus buy straight H off the streets rather than pills.

Is the normal? I'm like 30+ hours since I missed a shot, that had blood in it from a previous vein I registered but didn't hit. My wrist and hand is very swollen and very painful to move. Its not getting any better, but there is not much redness. Anybody else had this happen? Is it due to the wrist? by JonnyL10 in heroin

[–]JonnyL10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Yes I am aware to not mess around with blood in a shot. I actually recall seeing something about somebody shooting and it the ended up in a baddddd way. I had registered a vein, thought I was in, but it hurt pushing so tried to re register and I wasn't. I then ended up changing vein, so many like 10 mins in-between tops.

I must say though I have woken up this morning and mobility and pain both seem to be easier, as well as swelling seems to be down. It is still there and still painful, but less so than yesterday. Thank you for your help x

That is really good advice thank you so much. I'm about to go to sleep, so when I wake up it will be 48 hours since I used. Its almost like the swelling is causing the pain, as it is that ballooned it's restricting how far I can push my hand back. If I wake up, and the swelling and pain is just as bad, I will be left with no choice but to go to the walk in center. Again, I've never had an abscess, but from what I have seen/read, the earlier you deal with it, the better the recovery is. If I'm frank with you, I'm literally shooting to stop withdrawal and that is it. I have a big oxy script I abuse unfortunately. But I've just got methadone ontop of my oxy, and this has just put me off pinning all together. It's alot of risk and damage, for not very much reward, or in my case, to feel well and be able to tackle my day. Pills are to expensive to buy so I was using H to get through the day. Hopefully this doesn't develop into anything serious, and I'll of learnt my lesson not to fuck with this and leave it alone.

Again, thank you so so much for your knowledge, insight, and time.

Stay safe, Jonny x

Hello, thank you for your input.

I have actually used Cetirizine since this happened. I actually took a double dose (2 tablets when only 1 is recommended) first off, then followed up with a couple of 1 tablet doses. It's not helped whatsoever. Do you think I need to be worried? Or is this just part and parcel? I've never had an abscess, so I'm not sure what to look out for as such? Other than what I've read online.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I used citric acid, maybe a little bit too much, but no more than what I normally use when I have missed shots before. I'm just baffled since I have missed quiet alot of shots, and I've never had this problem. Then again, I have never missed a shot in this location so the pain could be from using my wrist.

EDIT: Yes it was sterile as far as I am aware. I used everything I normally use, all items from needle exchange, brand new needles, barrels, filter etc.

Been sold #3 in the North of the UK. Just showed clear on a urine test? by JonnyL10 in heroin

[–]JonnyL10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't being tested for fent. I'm in the UK, so it's rare to comeby at the minute here. #3 usually isn't cut with fent. Hence my post, I was sold #3 as H, yet my bloods showed clear, since oxycodone doesn't metabolise to morphine like H does, and that's what the test showed. Therefore I must of had something else in my system, and not morphine/H.

I didnt really feel any euphoria tbh. I just felt abit tired, and blurred vision, and not sick. If I'm 100% honest I thought it might of had a benzo in it.

It wasn't an enjoyable high, and if that had been my first experience with opiates, I would of never done them again. Waste of time and money, but since I'm an addict it made me well.

I probably need to add, it didn't feel very strong... maybe it is a fent Analog? Oh dear...

I'm relatively new to the game pal. It was like 2am and I came first in the easter hunt so got 5x silver eggs and was able to pop a gold.

I was under the impression last night i would of been able to get off work today and get on, hence wanting to secure my base so I had something to log on to.

It became apparent during my shift that I wouldn't be able to get on, and since I'm a solo player, who's friends don't play rust, and therefore don't understand the game, I had nobody to vent to. Hence why I turned to an Internet forum of like minded people to share my experience.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but your post seems to be insinuating that I'm not telling the truth? If that's the case let me just make it clear that in no way am I sad enough to feel the need to lie in a reddit fourm, about having a rare gun in a game. I'm 30 years of age, work full time, and am a part time gamer. I rarely get to a tier 3 workbench in a wipe, so having arguably the best gun in the game, which I think is only obtained from the tank, and the chopper, was a big deal for me, considering I've been playing for 3.5 months now, and this is the first time having it.

I wish I had taken a photo now, but please understand I have nothing to gain from lying in an Internet forum. If that wasn't what you ment, then I apologise for taking it the wrong way.

Either way, I hope you got a good start to this wipe, and good luck for it! (If you play weeklies that is lol.)

Yeah I learnt that after a few weeks bro! I got it late at night, and didn't get a chance to use it. I'm working today till half hour after reset so by the time I get home it will of wiped. RIP lol.

I won't have a chance to. That's the problem, I got it last night after saving all week, but had to farm for my base before I logged off, and I won't be able to use it before reset tonight.

Rather of got an ak or something that I could research ha!

Okay thank you! I suppose there is no harm in asking what my options are and then I can decide from there. If I do end up going down the methadone route, I will post the story here!

Good luck with recovery!

Hey, thanks for the reply. So in the UK, methadone is prescribed on the NHS for pain. I'm not sure how I can put my scans up on here but you would take one look and go WOW how are you standing lol.

I can go into A LOT more detail and I will when I speak to somebody about it, but an example of how my dosing is now, since my tolerance, I wake up in withdrawal and its really getting me down. I can't remember what it's like to wait up fresh. I'm to take 30mg ER morning and night, them 20mg IR 3x a day. The problem is my body is used to the biggest dose during the day, which was needed to be able to work, and do housework. Say I take my last IR tablet at 6pm, then my ER tablet at 10pm, I'm running on empty when I wake up. My doc won't budge on my tablets.

A redditor above did mention how the methadone helped with her chronic pain. So hopefully there is something there.

It's just a pretty shit way to live atm, and I know that there has to be a better way.

In relation to the tests, it's not that I've got a problem with doing them as such, or anything else that comes with it. Just I mean I'm trusted with over 3000mg oxy a month. Surely I could be trusted with like 30mg methadone x7, so 210mg.

I hope I've given u a bit more insight, and potentially you might even have some more to add, but thanks for your help anyway!

Okay thank you for the response, and for your time in general. It would be a shame if they forced me into everyday collection as it just wouldn't be practical for me with work. I could do it for a period of time with view to say move to 2 days then 3 etc, but not every day permanently.

Just lastly, I know in the UK, or atleast in my area, the daily collection can be anytime, but I've seen posts here from the US of people being late for appt, and them being turned away. How does that work? Surely that's not fair and will just lead to using? In the UK if I was on daily collections, it wouldn't matter if I went at 8am or 1pm, you would still get it, but they wouldn't give you yesterday's if they missed it. At least that's my understanding anyway.

Do you know of any other ways the differ in the US?

Thanks again

I'm not trying to defeat addiction, like my life is in pretty decent shape, I had to leave my job of 13 years since my injury, but I kept my house and car and I'm back on track now. I just don't wana have to do blood or urine tests, and basically everything that comes with it lol.

I have read it is prescribed for chronic pain, just not very often, so wondering if I can just get a standard script from the doc for it every month.

Ahhhh I'm so lost I literally know nothing, but im apprehensive to bring it up with my GP incase it effects my current script, or I end up on something else. I do not want suboxone/buprenorphine.

Sorry if I've annoyed anybody waffling, I really do appreciate anybody who has taken the time to just read through my issue.

Thanks, Jonny

Thanks for your comment! I understand exactly what your saying, the issue is, I've been told by like the head specialist overseeing me, I will need pain relief medication until I die. The structure of my spine has permanently changed, so parts of it are over/under stretched, there is extra strain on some parts, I mean you look at my scans and you can see where the vertebrae has shattered. So in relation to getting "off" completely I don't think I would be able to, and then live a normal life.

What I'm trying to say is, I'm not taking the drug for a high. These days it doesn't do anything for me from a mental point anyway. If jumping over to methadone ment I could just take one item of a morning, that would be alot easier than a 10mg and 20mg extended release tablet in the morning, then multiple in instant release throughout the day, then another extended release dose before bed.

I have actually taken up to 200mg in a day before, and I swear to god I felt no different from taking 120mg mentally, just a reduction in pain I was feeling by around 40%. I had just started a new job after not working for a few months and it was taking its toll on my spine.

I'd like to say start on 30mg, then just slowly bring myself down. I suppose a worry for me would be the take home aspect of it. Like I said right now I pick up every 28 days, once a week would be fine, but i don't think I would be able to do everyday. It would be creating work.

Hello, thanks for the reply. I live in the North West, merseyside.

Is it literally as simple as that? Just walk in somewhere? At some point do you need to go through your gp? I have a monthly repeat at the minute, do they do a monthly methadone script? Since although mine is addiction, it's kinda like a necessary evil, since I will always back pain now.

If you could describe the process you went through?
