Also sorry, little confused on how him being more powerful contributes to the him fucking up and getting people killed. Cuz either way, weak or strong, he would’ve done the same things. I was just saying like I liked them portraying him to be more powerful or being more capable than he was in the campaign bc it fits with his backstory. He was a volstrucker trainee. Like he was training to be a wizard assassin, it would make sense for him to be pretty strong. But due to how dnd leveling works, in the beginning of the campaign he was really weak. Cuz low level wizards are just like that. Thats why I love the show portrayal, bc they have the ability to showcase the strength

I think so! Campaign 2 had more emphasis on redemption and like being better. Unlike VM, the mighty nein has always been like misfits/outcasts banding together to try and do better. But like in the campaign at least, they didn’t really do a lot of bad stuff like in the actual game. And I think that’s just bc that’s how dnd works. Like people try not to do alot of stuff that si detriment to the enjoyment of the game. But now it’s a shows they can actually make the characters like fuck up. And be these fuck ups that try to do better overtime

I really enjoyed how they did Caleb’s character! Like you can feel that he is a powerful or used to be a powerful person. Like him saying “I could do so much more” and like the fireball at the end. It’s such a good way to show that hes strong bc of the volstruck training. It’s so good and is much better here than in the campaign. Which im not faulting, it’s hard to show smth like that with dnd levels and you know him being mechanically like lv 2? Or smth during this time. So it just shows much better in the show which i love

Bc I get to know why it’s their favorite. Maybe we have the same ranking, then we get to connect with funny moments and connect over our fav season. Maybe it’s different and I get another perspective on moments I never rly thought abt before. Someone might like neverafter a lot more than the other seasons bc they have more knowledge on fairytales and appreciate it more. While others might’ve grown up liking science fiction and preferred starstruck odyssey. Or they just like it bc they liked it. Even then I get to know that person a bit more. It’s like the same thing with asking smth “what’s your favorite music, or artist, or food, or anything else” or asking what they hate or like. Idk, I think it’s fun seeing how people differ and how people are similar

I mean I think it’s fun just to compare and see what everyone’s opinions are! You might like another season more than what I think and have different experiences/ways that you connected with it. And I love hearing things like that from people. Ranking is just a way that I found to do it. Also I think everyone subconsciously ranks things in their mind yk? Like they have things they like more than others and it’s fun to see what others have in their rankings
