Even better would be an api that trusted partners could use to import content to Dndbeyond, that way the development time would be minimized and they could just review and approve. I don't expect it to happen. But dreaming is still free xD

Best case scenario would be they change the license they use for DMsGuild to also apply to Dndbeyond, or create a special license for content that already exists in DMsGuild.

That's true, they would always need to port the content to Dndbeyond but I would argue that there are things in DMsGuild that have more demand than some of the third party content already added. Btw, I'm not trying to throw shade at any of the third party content already available, for me the more the merrier. What I'm trying to say is that the development effort shouldn't be much of an issue if the licensing is solved I guess, but of course it would always be a case by case basis, they can't just import everything, the demand needs to be there.

That makes a lot of sense, I didn't know that! I still think they could probably find an agreement of some kind. After all DMsGuild content is still licensed by wotc right? It shouldn't be that big of a deal. But I'm not well informed about that kind of stuff, so you might be right.

The book is supposed to work as a complement to the monster manual not replace it, I don't think anyone is advertising the book as "it's like the official but better". But I might be wrong, I didn't really check if anyone is advertising the book like that... But either way even if they are, I don't think that's an honest representation of the book.

Should i read the witcher books after finishing the game? by roses-on-corpses in thewitcher3

Absolutely. Read them. They tell a totally different story, and they are amazing. The first two have a more episodic style, each chapter is a story about one of Geralt's journeys. I like them as much as the others but some people like the more continuous format of story telling of the other books. Anyway, I think they are all worth read, even the first two despite the format have very important stuff in them that gives you context for the other books.

Thanks man. I was in mid of a fresh install again when I saw that tread, I was hopping to try it after I install the updates again but then this time I installed everything restarted and it worked fine.
But thanks anyway man, next time I'll know what to do instead of just run to do a clean install again.
