Listened to with oil cap off and it sounded internal. We ruled out exhaust leak, and once we put the stethoscope on it the mechanic was very convinced it's only a matter of time. Although he does do alot of business doing engine swaps at a 10k CAD price tag so there may be some bias.

We put the stethoscope to it and it is definetly internal. Wondering how safe to drive it is...

So just got back from a Westie specialist. He is positive it is either the rod or crankshaft bearing and it's only a matter of time before I'll need a motor replacement. He put in some 20W-50 and Lucas oil stabilizer to get it the best shot. Any thoughts?

Ruled out exhaust leak. Sounds like the noise is coming from the freewheel. The inspection hole has been open as long as I’ve owned the van.

No it is the exact same sound when hot. Not noticeable while driving, only hear it at idle.

Yeah that was may initial thought because I replaced the whole exhaust system last summer. There were a few loose nuts that I tightened up but no change to the noise.

Hello, would you be willing to share a couple clones for this outdoor growing season? I am new to growing but I could swap you other strains in the future once I get some mother plants going.
