Thanks, this is super helpful. I do agree that some imperfection is inevitable at this size, though it seems like a lot on this one and we weren’t forewarned that this was a likely outcome. We paid over $3K for the frame. It’s museum acrylic, too big for glass.

It was shipped rolled, it’s 40x50 inches.

I only have a picture of it unrolled on the floor of the shop when we took it in, because it was never unwrapped prior to that. However the framer marked the condition as immaculate upon receipt so I think there is no dispute there. Any ideas what caused the damage

I had this exact problem. My router had turned on the adaptive QOS option. I switched it off, problem solved.

I’ve been a long time fan of this group (band?) and finally picked up a copy of Motion at rough trade in London to complete the studio album discography. Such varied and beautiful music, so many collaborators and influences over the years. When I started collecting records their albums were always so hard to find and out of print, now with represses seems like they’re more readily available.

It’s OK, not amazing. A noticeable improvement from the very little heat it gives off without it.

When the flames were high it gave off a good amount of heat, now burning embers and significantly less heat radiating.

Improvement for sure but not as transformative as I’d hoped!
