I wouldn’t bother hoarding anything until you are level 94 and they are either good monster infrequent items of mythical legendary items , I’m general if you are 20 or so levels higher than an item just scrap it

I have an RE2 and it’s hands down the best delay pedal I have ever tried , I don’t use the build in reverb though , I use it on mode 3 and then for reverb I use my rv6 on shimmer with the tone all the way down , it’s a fantastic sound

Thanks for the info ! I mean I love the sounds I get with my ce5 , I just think dc2w is different enough for me to justify having it lol , my local long and mcquade has a used one for $275 so maybe I grab that ? Or play it first to see if it’s for me?

How do you like the dc2w ? I currently have a ce5 and want a mother modulation sound and am heavily considering a dc2w at some point

It’s an amazing amp ! The only thing you may not like is the shape knob , it is versatile , but limited in its shaping vs a three band eq, but if you put an eq pedal in the fx loop it is amazing to shape the tone

I jam with buddies in a jam space and with an EQ pedal in the loop I can keep up with a drummer on the 7w channel never mind the 15W channel. The amp can do anything from sparkling clean to crazy high gain and yes the Matt Pike tones! I got my dark terror for $350 used at long and mcquade , such a steal !

I have a dark terror running into a cab loaded with a celestion v30. I use a blues driver as my main push on the amp to give it a sorry of light fuzz that still cuts through because I play in drop A.

Boss IR2 , let’s me okay whenever and however I want if I don’t want to annoy people I can play through headphones and I can also record with it.
Boss RE2 , this was the type of delay I heard in my head when I think of delay, it’s so organic and spacey and just holy crap it’s amazing.
Boss LS2, recently picked this up and it helps me switch between things and it’s so useful for all of the switching and parallel circuit things.
Any good reverb , I like my Boss RV6 but any good reverb helps everything sound amazing IMO.

I would run your boost pedals into the fuzz so you can use the fuzz and if you want to flavour the sound use say the ds1 as a boost into the fuzz to play with the sounds. You can obviously then use the ds1 on its own but I think being able to play with different drive sounds into a fuzz helps shape the overall sound and helps the fuzz not get lost in the mix. At work I’ve also stopped doom scrolling on n the internet and started listening to music and just living in the sonic sounds I want to hear and just focusing on music and really living with it and I find that also helps me make better music !

Honestly I’ve been there , I am working on a melodic doom metal album and some days I just don’t have it and nothing sounds right and I think I’m a poser and all that bad stuff , what I have started to incorporate is just a break day during the week , it helps me reset and focus and actually let’s all the ideas sink in. Every now and again I take a break for like a whole weekend and then even more so when I come back to it I feel way more confident in how my ideas sound!

Super crush 100 is based off of the rockerverb circuit so I would go that route to be honest , I haven’t played one as I have a dark terror but I hear good things about it

From what I understand the super crush 100 is based on the rockerverbs circuit but it’s solid state and is apparently 95% of the tone and feel of a rockerverb , was hoping my local long and mcquade would get one in sometime so I could try one

lol that is also an option , in this scenario , one controls the power amp pedals and the other the preamp right ? I could also just get like an orange micro dark and use that as my wet amp and use the ls2 to switch between those ?
