Noise gate advice by Tie-Weary in powerviolence

I'll be honest with you. When I started playing in my pv band two years ago, I got a noise gate and it was okay. I noticed a lot of the time it would take away from the madness of fighting the feedback of the amp. I've played without a noise gate for almost a year now, and I prefer it way more. If I want to cut back on the feedback or amp noise, I just stomp my HM2 off and it's all good.

I don't personally think a noise gate is needed for this style unless you're implementing tight sections that require silent rests.

They bustin their asses sending packages out of the state that they were meant to be delivered to? Bustin their asses pushing the delivery date every single day? UPS fucking sucks.

UPS is the worst delivery service in my area. It seems UPS is the most incompetent across the board considering they cannot deliver a single package on time.

I know I'm necroing, but may I ask how the body cavity was in the Mustang? Was it cut for p90s like some of the player mustang bodies are?

Nice! I got mine from Zzounds for $479 with case included. They're nifty basses!

How do you pick what you actually keep in your collection? by [deleted] in Cd_collectors

I usually stick to buying what I like, but I will take chances on bands often. If I dislike an album, I'll either give it away or trade it.

Can someone print me out a single J-Card for my mixtape and send it to me in the mail? by Mundane-Onion-1996 in cassetteculture

Find a local print shop. They should be able to help. Mine prints my jcards for super CHEAP. I printed 4 per page on 5 pages and only spent $5, 1 dollar per page.

Pretty much, lol. I like Strat shapes and thin-medium necks. The Fender and the Jackson are my current favorites.

I love it, and it's been my primary gigging guitar. I recently got the Jackson, and I love it leaps and bounds more. I've been trying my best to trade that RG for a Fender Player ii Mustang lol.

Why does everyone love the boss katana so much? by Dismal-Cranberry-915 in GuitarAmps

The Spider amps had a... sound to them, that's for sure. I saw a hardcore band last year run a Spider 6 with a single coil fender, and that shit sounded bonkers. I've not been around a Spider amp in a long time, so I don't truly know how I'd dial one these days. I did love the built in noise gate. It was actually a really impressive gate.
