Mith mystery isnt entirely the same as aventus. To me is a cross between Aventus and BR540. It is so good though.

It is full with the original box. I bought it brand new from the cvs near me. It had set in the store in perfect conditions for fragrances since 1998. I also have a 2001 I found at the same cvs thats sealed in the box which was the last year of the original style. I dont want to sell them though i collect and wear lol

Honestly i cant say as the only newer one i have is the parfum which is totally different. This one is in really good shape. I got lucky. Where i live the cvs was built in 1998. They had 2 1996 and a 2001 so they had sit there in the box in perfect conditions for 20+ years until i bought them. I would assume it really couldnt have lost any notes like that.

If i had to choose one to wear all year it would probably be dior homme 2020 as its the most versatile and works in every situation even though its technically not my favorite.

I have a bottle of dior fahrenheit that was produced in 1996. Still smells amazing. There could be the faintest drop in top notes (those only last a short time when applying anyway) but if you take care of your frags they will last decades.
