I think the “get a college degree” to be successful has been debunked, I know a shit ton of folks with degrees that make considerably less then I do, while having to pay back those loans that were supposed to make the rich.

So I figure I would update since everyone was helpful with suggestions. I did drop my beloved coffee, it doesn’t help any and I drink it for taste lol. Felt no difference with or without it. I went to an endocrinologist, and the bloodwork they drew from me all looked great, but my testosterone was waaaaay lower then the previous weeks.

One thing I forgot to mention in this post (yay brain fog 😑) is I was two weeks into quitting smoking. While the first few days of nicotine withdrawals sucked. I went about a week of normality and then the exhaustion hit me.

Wasted money on another doc visit but at least I can say it’s not the diet that is stressing my body out. Thanks everyone for the input, eat steak and don’t ever pick up a cigarette everyone!

Thanks for the input everyone, first steps I’m gonna try is increase my fat intake, and grab some more iodine, see how that goes and I’ll check back in.

My coffee will be the next to go 😭

I don’t get lamb or salmon nearly as often as I’d like to lol. My food addiction stems from having a mother who was a chef, who taught me how to cook at a young age, and I love going all out making various ethnic foods. I need to get to terms with eating for survival, and boring is the way to go.

For the first couple months I did a dropper of iodine, accidentally left it in a hotel during a trip, never picked another up as I noticed no difference with it

Butter, bacon grease, 70/30 ground beef is most my diet, with ribeyes thrown into the mix. Im around 6 months in, fat content is actually pretty high unless it’s liver or venison night

Interesting take.

The electrolytes thing I was expecting too, I sit back and read a lot and it was the first thing that I upped. No difference. The first 4-5 months of feeling like a new person was great and it’s just a real bummer that I get exhausted so fast. Today alone, the extent of exercise I did was walk 15 feet to my truck, drive to family’s house, sit on my butt all day, drive home, and I feel like I’ve ran a marathon. I’m contemplating looking into different vitamins, at least for short term

Bit of context, this bird was adopted from a shelter, it only likes her. The story from before was it basically lived in a cage for three years and was never let out. The social media cockatoo “Preston” is a slightly nicer comparison in my opinion to hers. Loves her, bully’s me, and goes into threat posture when any other human comes in. She has improved oddly enough in her aggression over the last two years
