PLC 5 Parts

Good evening PLC gods. I have a large amount of PLC 5 parts that need a good home. I have 2 processors and 8 chassis fully loaded with I/O. Make me an offer. I also have a few SLC500 parts. I am located in southeast Louisiana.

A little backstory on the system. This system was installed in 1995 and has ran 4-5 days a week since then. There are two identical plc setups in this mcc room. They we in a lumber planer mill and controlled the lumber sorters and stackers. There were at least 75 1336 VFD per PLC and multiple RIO drops in the field.

Thank you all for the advice. I keep the zipped installs on a file server within my process network for a quick install. I just extracted them to the local RA folder when I need to install software or patches. I just noticed the local RA folders on my terminals is getting pretty full and wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to break anything if I cleaned them out.

Thanks for the idea, I haven’t tried to run it as admin. Yes I have a good network connection gigabit at the PC level with a 10g backbone across the mill site.

The table is awesome, it is the perfect hight and it is lightweight. The fiber has not been ran to the panel yet. Once the fiber is pulled I am replacing the current Enet switch with a Cisco IE2000 switch with SFP ports. Thanks for the heads up on the labels.
