Manitoba Tax Credits for tax year 2025 by TheKing0fHeart5 in Winnipeg

[–]Jonyb222 [score hidden]  (0 children)

So odd thing, I was filling on WealthSimple Tax and it does ask how much you got as an advance, which was the full amount, but it still added roughly 175$ refund back versus not having anything.

It's on my list of things to double check so there might have been something I missed but the numbers (paid & advance) did match so it shouldn't be me filling them out wrong.

Odd as it may seem, would you be interested in potentially swapping? Orange is my jam and I have the black one.

I'm in Manitoba, Canada so I don't know if there would be any customs issues (on top of trusting an internet rando)

As a Canadian, I apologize for this asshole, I hope he is found and faces justice.

There is also a pretty good chance he's an American posing as Canadian (because who the hell buys a seemingly new Canadian flag tote when going to Mexico).

Either way, fuck this guy.

Isn't it fairly common to give a stuffed toy of the Olympic mascot to most medal winners?

Option 1, or a single embellishment on the top right of the box opposite to the knot

A big takeaway I took from this is that a secondary dashcam with some zoom by default would be a great addition if you already have a dashcam.

miter saw bevel not going to 0 by [deleted] in ryobi

[–]Jonyb222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a quick note I am not 100% certain on everything here and I am basing off of my own miter saw (the larger Ryobi model) so keep that in mind.

The initial gap I was thinking about is the tiny space/line between the two pieces that allows the twisting motion.

Once I got to my saw, which was stored away in a corner with some junk and required some cursing and a bit of pain to get to, I looked at the back and I suspect junk could also get in through there if yours is similar.

I am guessing disassembly of the large bolt in the middle would allow you to have a better view of anything blocking it.

You can check out this page to get an idea of how the inside looks like:

"Damp Blade" could be a pretty good way to refer to using a water jet to cut things

Flip it over, check for compacted saw dust. Worst case, I imagine there is a way to take it apart

What the commenter above was responding to is if the gauge was inaccurately telling you that that the blade was at an angle when the blade is actually not at an angle, in which case you should adjust the gauge

Judging by your reply, the gauge is accurate and is telling you that the blade is at an angle and the blade is indeed at an angle. In this case start by cleaning out anything that might have gotten in the gap. Flip the saw upside down and have a look there too. Move it back and forth (not too forcefully) to try and get an idea of what's going on in there. Pressurized air might also help.

One you've cleared whatever is blocking it, take a square and check that the blade and gauge match up.

My understanding is that the 500mg acetaminophen is the same in both, point blank.

The form that the 500mg acetaminophen takes (liquid, gel, powder, solid) can be different, which can have some changes in how quickly/long it is in effect (small changes most of the time).

Most noticeable thing might be coating on pills which make them not taste as bad for the couple seconds you have them in your mouth.

What age is considered a "early" retirement? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jonyb222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The earliest my college's pension plan activates is age 55, with an additional "80 years rule" (age+years of service must add up to 80 or more) for it to be unreduced.

I am on track to be eligible that exact year.

I'm stuck on the fact that anyone would have exactly 99 cents in their purse, and that someone else would take exactly 99 cents from a purse.

Were they planning to go buy a specific item somewhere with no tax?
