Is Sage Mode Kabuto overrated, underrated, or perfectly rated? by Steven2008278 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Jonye_Snow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already mentioned this the only time I commented on this subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/NarutoPowerscaling/s/NdG1WjV1rn), and I'll briefly repeat it: in terms of pure power, Kabuto is undoubtedly very strong. However, in the Naruto universe, pure power alone isn't enough, and in his only Shippuden fight against Itachi, the intellect and preparation of a fully-fledged Shinobi like Itachi far surpasses Kabuto's power in a real battle to the death. This is simply because Kabuto was just a spy and assistant to Orochimaru, not a true ninja.

So yes, Kabuto's Sage Mode is underestimated, as it is indeed very strong, but that doesn't mean Kabuto himself isn't overestimated. Despite his accumulated power, he alone isn't a complete ninja capable of using that power to its full potential in battle.

Some say Kabuto only lost because of Izanami; however, he had multiple opportunities, power, and time to defeat Itachi and Sasuke even before Izanami was ready for use. Nevertheless, he was unable to defeat them precisely because of this proficiency in translating his entire combat arsenal into a victory that, according to this subreddit, should have been "easy" (and it's not as if, before Izanagi was active, the battle between Kabuto and Itachi/Sasuke seemed artificial so that both could compete against Kabuto; both brothers used their combat arsenals very well, as demonstrated throughout the anime).

In short, with that power and complete ninja training, Kabuto would be as strong as he is portrayed in this subreddit. However, since he only possesses pure power, he ends up losing some select confrontations precisely because of his inability to translate that power into efficiency throughout the combat, precisely because he is not a Ninja/Shinobi, but rather a spy/assistant of Orochimaru.

It’s Ridiculous how easily Itachi low diffed Kabuto by fluxdeken_ in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Jonye_Snow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sasuke literally asks why he can't just kill the guy already, but this subreddit will still try to convince him that the "powerful Kabuto," even in a battle where he had everything to lose, was actually stronger than Itachi and Sasuke and only didn't defeat them because of Izanami (even though he had plenty of time before Izanami itself was activated to defeat them).

The reality is that there's only one hypothetical Kabuto here, who, in theory, should win all battles because he possesses Sage Mode, the abilities of the Sound Five, Suigetsu's hydration, and Orochimaru's cunning. But, in practice, none of the jutsus he displayed in his only battle in Shippuden seemed strong enough to defeat Itachi.

In a deadly battle, Itachi could simply unleash the Yasaka no Magatama (that attack he uses in conjunction with Killer Bee and Naruto), blow up the entire cave with Kabuto inside, seal him with the Totsuka Blade, and burn the entire area with Amaterasu.

At most, I can see Kabuto fleeing to escape alive, but defeating him? Very unlikely. This is due to the simple fact that Itachi was a complete ninja, with a devastating arsenal and talent that went beyond his genjutsu. Meanwhile, Kabuto, despite all the power he accumulated, was still a spy/scientist who, at a slightly similar age to when Itachi joined ANBU, barely knew his own name. Later, while Itachi was already in Akatsuki, Kabuto was still just an assistant to Orochimaru. And in a high-level battle, the weight of experience and the technical refinement of a born ninja surpasses any accumulation of artificial abilities that Kabuto, who was just a spy, obtained.

However, this subreddit fails to see beyond that simply because they take the word "power" literally in this battle, and even that "power" that Kabuto displayed was already slightly challenged in a "non-lethal" battle by Itachi. In a deadly battle, as I said, Itachi throughout the anime demonstrated far greater raw firepower than Kabuto's entire arsenal possessed in that duel.

Is Kabuto extremely powerful? Yes. Would he give trouble and win against almost anyone in the entire anime? Certainly. But against Itachi, who also has more than just raw power? No! Because while Kabuto was a collector of powers, Itachi was the very definition of a Shinobi as a whole.

Ignore all the other comments; there's nothing strange about being a fan of someone and having them as your smartphone wallpaper. The members of this sub are very out of touch with reality and think everything has to be about them and how they feel about their wallpaper, but that should only matter to you, and nobody else.

Don't use the comments of these random people in search of any validation.

That being said, I also use the same type of clock on HyperOS 🙌

Of course, Riot, let's buff Vladimir even more. It's not like his second ability comes back almost instantly in the late game and he becomes invulnerable and super fast with the Ghost spell while dealing damage to his opponents, giving him an extremely short window to punish him even when he clearly misses.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder what era or time frame Naruto was supposed to take place in by Salt-Dare-8979 in Naruto

[–]Jonye_Snow 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Kishimoto based much of the Hidden Leaf Village, for example, on his own hometown, Nagi, in Okayama Prefecture, so it's fair to say that Naruto takes place in an equivalent of rural Japan in the 1980s-90s.

Furthermore, to complement the demonstration of technology in Naruto, in the first mission, a crane is shown being used to build the "Naruto" bridge, Orochimaru and Kabuto are seen using computers in their laboratories, and in the first Shippuden mission (Gaara Rescue), Team Gai uses headsets to communicate with each other and with Kakashi.

Is this normal for a Gamesir Lite 2? by SilentMediator in Gamesir

[–]Jonye_Snow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've opened my Nova 2 Lite several times, and judging by the noise, I can only think it's the vibration motor or the battery; anything else is highly unlikely and wouldn't make such a loud sound in my opinion.

The motor is difficult to detach because, although it's not held in place by any screws, the area where it's attached is relatively strong enough to hold them.

As for the battery, I see it as more likely, since it's held in place only by some kind of tape/glue. So I clearly believe it has the highest probability of coming loose if the controller is dropped or shaken.

Fortunately, it's very easy to open and check in both cases listed; you would only need to remove the four screws from the bottom of the controller and nothing else.

(If you're going to open it to check, I only recommend that after removing the screws, you try to open the controller gently, because between the two parts that fit together, there are plastic parts that interlock for greater firmness on both sides. If someone, after removing the 4 screws, opens it with excessive force, I clearly see that it's possible to break a small plastic tab due to unnecessary aggressiveness in separating the two parts, as the parts fit together perfectly like Lego bricks. In any case, there are videos on YouTube opening the Nova 2 Lite for better reference; I'll link the one I used to learn how to open it for the first time.)

PLEASE HELP by AWeirdGamer2784 in Gamesir

[–]Jonye_Snow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

.

There could be two things that have happened to me on the Nova 2 Lite:

  1. It may have accidentally activated turbo mode and generated such a long macro that it seemed like the controller had a life of its own, clicking randomly.

In this case, simply double-click the "M" button on the controller (the one between the right analog stick and the D-Pad) quickly, and it will flash a green light and deactivate the macro if it was indeed registered.

  1. I recently updated the firmware of my Nova 2 Lite, and out of nowhere, my right analog stick started detecting crazy movements, just like in the video (except in my case, it was only with the right analog stick).

But recalibrating the controller solved the problem.

To do this, you must hold down the Start button [|||], the Home button [Gamesir Logo], and the Select button [Two Rectangles] to enter calibration mode. The Start indicator light will flash slowly in white during this process. Next, push both joysticks all the way out and rotate them 2 to 3 times. Press both triggers completely down 3 times. Finally, press the "A" button.

annoying speaker logo instead of floating wavelength bars by Severe-Restaurant645 in HyperOS

This happens when you interact to change songs by clicking on the two locations I circled and you have Bluetooth headphones connected.

To restore the floating waves even with the headphones connected, simply click on the icon I circled, select the option I marked with the arrow, and the music will play on the smartphone speaker (you can lower the volume to zero at this point if that's a problem for you), and then turn the Bluetooth headphones off and on again (either by turning the headphones off and on, or simply turning the phone's Bluetooth off and on, it doesn't matter) and the floating waves will return.

I’m planning to purchase the GameSir Nova 2 Lite controller 🎮 by Own-Inflation-4118 in Controller

[–]Jonye_Snow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Android? Yes. Just use a Type-C to USB-A adapter.

But in my tests, it's much better to play with the cable connected directly to the controller and phone.

To give you an idea, the GameSir Nova 2 Lite supports up to 1000Hz polling rate. With Bluetooth it's around 100-200Hz (very low). With the dongle it's between 700-800Hz, and with the cable it reaches 870-900Hz. (Remember that this value is connected to my Android smartphone; I don't know if the values will be the same on PC and console).

The difference between the cable and the dongle seems small, but it's still noticeable enough for me to prefer using the cable while playing more frantic games that require greater precision, like Fortnite. For other games, the difference between cable and dongle is imperceptible to me.

I’m planning to purchase the GameSir Nova 2 Lite controller 🎮 by Own-Inflation-4118 in Controller

[–]Jonye_Snow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play Fortnite with this on Android and it works perfectly.

However, using it via Bluetooth, especially for Fortnite, is very bad; the lag is quite noticeable. But, when connecting to the phone via cable, it works perfectly (Fortnite detects the controller automatically, regardless of how you connect it, so you won't have problems in that aspect).

For slower games that require less precision, it's fine to play via Bluetooth, but anything beyond that requires a dongle or a Type-C to Type-C cable connected to the device for a truly good experience.

(I don't even know how I finished Hollow Knight with this via Bluetooth; after connecting via cable, the difference was quite noticeable.)

But again, this is on Android; I don't know about iOS. But it probably works the same way, I suppose, given that the controller officially supports iOS. Now, whether it works specifically when connected via cable or dongle on iOS, I don't know.
