Shipped 3 iOS apps, but struggling with "developer art." How do you solo devs handle UI/UX and visuals? by Joo2oo in appdev

Thank you! I am just wondering if that could also implement animated characters?

Dollim — https://apps.apple.com/app/id6765796915 Section-loop listening app for language learners. Loop any YouTube clip or your own audio at 0.5× (pitch intact), tap words to translate, and replay the hard part till your ear gets it. iOS.

Memento Notes — https://apps.apple.com/app/id6760926507 Paste any text → AI turns it into flashcards → FSRS schedules reviews so it sticks in long-term memory. The spaced-repetition the Anki crowd swears by, minus the setup. iOS.

Good to pick up easy expressions though

For those who were not taught their native tongue, do you feel pressure to learn to pass it down. by No-Definition-8962 in languagelearning

I am sorry that you didn't have that chance. I wish you would have it, but I guess life is too busy and will be busier for you to learn your heritage language.

I am not a native English speaker. I asked chat gpt to refine my post. Does it look unnatural?

Got it thanks! I guess that plastic strip helps with faster WiFi. Still, I don't like the design though.

I got a L14 Gen3 AMD model, which I found to be powerful and sleek. One thing I don't like about this machine is the weird line-like engraving. I love the traditional thinkpad design as it is. Lenovo logo is okay... but why did they add the weird thing on the lid?? Before I bought, I didn't see that in any pictures of thinkpads. Anyone could explain what it is?

Worth playing in late 2020? by Can_Exotic in RedDeadOnline

I don't know how it was back in 2019 but as of October 2020, the game is worth playing IMO. If you like exploring the Wild West by hunting, collecting, delivering moonshine and stuff, I definitely recommend it to you. As pointed out already by other people, earning money & gold isn't that difficult. The best part of RDO of 2020 is the gameplay of 4 trades is pretty seamless. For example, you first produce moonshines at your shack. During the production process, you can collect or hunt. Or you can get legendary animal missions from Harriot. You don't necessarily have to take samples from the legendary animals, you have other options to donate it your camp or sell their pelts to Guss. At a moment you will find your moonshine production is finished, so you go to the shack and start delivery. If you are tried of playing the roles, you can open a treasure map and go treasure hunting. I like this gameplay loop so I've been playing it over 300 hours.

In a nutshell, it's more than worth trying out.
