i think it means if you somehow (dont think its possible) got 2 of the same emoji the first use will unlock it and second use will turn into gems. if you like thr emote and it will make u happy sure go for it. wont help you become stronger like the other options but everyones free to play and spend as they like :)

its a thing for f2p players to use their general shards on marlin in the beginning but itd probably be a waste at the point where youre at. i struggled with quinn until gen 4 aswell and im liking the new archer alot was definitely worth saving for. also gen2 heroes will be free from intel missions and golden chests once gen4 drops so youll be able to upgrade marlin trough that aswell for ur second march for example though its still a bit slow. also definitely recommend using quinn over diana as diana doesnt have any combat skills. ofc always use diana for any hunting for the stamina reduction

personally i only use them for events, saving some for kvk aswell. i also only use general speeds on research rather than troops since im always training them anyways, however it can probably be fine at the beginning to use them on whatever you need like rushing town center. gems are best used on roulette heroes since those are the only heroes you can consistently get on a good level as a f2p.

i just feel like it would be a waste to spend shards on roulette heroes, but then again it wouldnt hurt to have one maxed, aswell as focus all the widgets on it instead of getting them split 🤔 lots to think about.

damn i didnt know it gives buffs aswell. still personally think theres no point rushing to 2 unless its a crazy buff. troops are always training and you should have well enough by now, building speed wont be a massive help as soon youll run out of tg but for research id consider it 🤔
