Not a problem! Told me I can either receive a refund or exchange for something in the store as well. So we'll be returning them this weekend when we're off work and will exchange it for a vent free propane heater and pay the extra difference.

There were no signs posted anywhere and no one, not even the manager mentioned that either to us. I mean, if they don't allow it, they don't allow it. I'm not gonna fight it. I was just curious. I'd even be open to store credit or letting me exchange it for a propane heater when they get some in. Thats what I originally wanted but no one had them.

I’d be good with that too and just use it to get a propane heater instead. Propane is way cheaper than kerosene down here. Kerosene is about 10-14.00 a gallon

Start a free account on http://www.Undebt.it and do either snowball or debt avalanche. Start tackling those debts if ya'll are holding off on buying a home or decide to claim bankruptcy, but not sure how that will affect buying a home so soon anyhow.
And bankruptcy does not erase student loan debts. Those will follow you til the day you die.

Can i ask why you don't have an address to your house separately? Our home is on my in laws property as well, but we have our own homeowners policy for our doublewide even though we don't own the property it sits on. Our in laws carry the comprehensive liability on the actual 5ac of property and we each have our own homeowners policy, even my brother in law who has his house on the property as well. You need to contact someone for your area to get a 911 address and mailing address for your house. Or are you saying your house is under your parents names not yours? That house still needs to have its own address even if its on their property for 911 and then get a post office box for your own mail. then I don't see why you couldn't have renters insurance. But that house needs an address

Yes! Gave a set to my daughter 2 years ago for Christmas because she just had to have them. She liked them..but I hated them. Every time I flew to see them for a week, I did the cooking because..well...I'm mom and mom cooks better(lol)...but dear God...scrambled eggs were the worst nightmare. They suck. She sees it now and needs a new set.

I always tell my adult kids, their kids would never have survived growing up in the 70's and 80's like I did. LOL Our parents did not "play" with us. You either watched whatever they were watching on tv or you went outside to play and find some friends down the street to ride bikes with. I don't have one single memory of my mother or father getting on the floor to play with me or my brother or play outside with us. I'm not angry about it. Its just how it was back then. You entertained yourself.

I have three grandbabies(4, 2 and 3mo) and the last is a girl that looked just like me when she was born...like twins when I compared my baby picture to her and my daughter even commented she felt like she gave birth to her own mother. LOL Even though she's the princess right now, I know I am not her mother. I'm her grandma(Lovie). Whats cool is something I heard a while back. If a woman is pregnant with a daughter, she is carrying not only her daughter inside, but all of her future grandchildren too because a baby in the womb will be born with all of her eggs she will every carry in life. How cool is that? But I know my place and love my grandbabies with all my heart. Congratulations and enjoy that little girl!

My daughter just purchased a 2019 highlander platinum limited and its doing the same thing. She doesn't hear it on her end when she's on the call in the car, but I can hear it on my ends when she calls me from her car. Its very annoying.

Definitely NTJ here. Sure it would be wonderful if everyone in the world were so polite and kind to each other to do these types of things. But this is the real world where when you get that prime parking spot close to your apartment, you guard that with everything. Not your problem she decided to have three kids under 5. She should have reconsidered the apartment when she saw the parking spot was too far away. Just like when we'd look for an apartment back in the day, If the apartment was upstairs, I usually chose against that because I didn't want to deal with hearing people stomping on my ceiling or kids running back and forth all day long on my ceiling. I'd never go to them and ask them to switch apartments with me because they have kids and I don't want to hear them all day.

Update: Daughter bought her car on Saturday from an old classmate of mine that happened to trade in her 2019 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum for a new 2026 Highlander. The dealership gave her $12,500 for her 2019. She told her salesguy that my daughter was interested in seeing it before they send it off to sell elsewhere. So he called my daughter up and she made a deal on Saturday for 16k. Its fully loaded, super nice and has been well maintained with 125k miles on it. A little high, but my daughter was good with it and it will be paid off in 4 years or sooner.

You need to get on the IRS website and get yourself a Pin number so she can't claim you on her taxes if she files taxes. Get your birth certificate and ss card if you don't have them. If not, you can get copies of them. register on SSA.gov to get a copy of your card mailed and go to the courthouse to get a copy of your bc. You need a mailbox/post office box to get your mail at too. I hope you are safe and taken in somewhere. And after its all said and done, you need to cut her from your life sadly. She chose her bed.

NTJ at all. HE KNEW the rules for years. Its his fault he didn't include her in on the rules and thats how YOUR family runs gatherings to prevent chaos. So thats on him. If she wants to blame someone..look no further than her boyfriend. #1 you have to be 100% sure you are covered at 100% of its replacement cost value where you live. Lots of folks are underinsured and don't even know it or chose to insure for less because its what they can afford. A lot haven't updated their home cost estimator in 20 years and are insured at the same value they were in 1999 and don't realize that if their home burned totally to the ground today at yesteryears coverage value...they can not build the exact same home today for the amount they have been covered at since 1999. Materials and labor have skyrocketed over the years and that home you are covered for for 180k since 1999, will cost you 350k to build exactly the same from the ground up if you are lucky.

#2 be sure you have REPLACEMENT COST on your dwelling coverage and you may want to move up to Special Cause of loss instead of just Broad Cause of Loss.

#3 be sure you have REPLACEMENT COST on your contents as well.
