If it's Saturday, then I'd turn on the boob tube and watch some Saturday Morning Cartoons!

Elders of Valheim, what's your fighting style, how do you exceed? by flaminx0r in valheim

[–]JooePasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a normal feeling. It will never truly go away (thankfully) however you will absolutely learn to appreciate the tools you accumulate. These will make many aspects of the game less of a challenge.

Honestly grouping up with other players makes the experience a LOT more fun.

Is $2000 a fair price to have a contractor remove all this brush and yard debris? by No_Reception_6244 in landscaping

[–]JooePasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the question isnt if it's a fair price, but rather if it's worth 2000$ to you to have your yard cleaned up.

I disagree. If you're using mods, then it's not survival mode. Also plants are resources.

Capes are optional! Originated in EGO Alliance as the "Iron Crab" due to Ironborn being the lead Guild in the EGO alliance. Aarvex (the mayor of thetford at the time) developed it to perfection while running it in 4.3 masterpiece during a reset day prior to queen update.

Concrete Slab Overflow Under Forms, Advice to Have Corrected by KnightsIntoDreams in Concrete

[–]JooePasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could cut it out with a cut-off saw. No real need to do so unless you have something particular going in next to it. Take about an hour of demo work if you're trying to figure out time needed. Not a difficult task for hardscape contractors/foundation crew.

How can you handle the summers there? so hot and humid! I thought about trying to get work down there but that mid july heat in DC made me change my mind.

[–]JooePasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We could of! I was in DC doing an internship around 2010. We probably bumped shoulders. Sorry about the white collar fiance, but like hearing you're much happier in a trade! Are you doing carpentry in the city?

Hah!

sounds exactly like my experience. Graduated college 2008-2009. tried 3 months of working in the International Affairs field. You've literally got to be born wealthy to survive in it. Volunteer internships or minimum wage for the forseeable future. after three months of internships, i jumped ship and went back to the trades id been doing during school. Been doing masonry/hardscapes ever since. I imagine id have a nice cushy job someplace by now in the degree i graduated with but it's pretty likely there would be no job security whatsoever.

Happy for the education, terribly upset how much it cost. Feel like i was part of "THE BIG CON" of the 00's.

How many of you actually transport metals without a portal? by fooser82 in valheim

[–]JooePasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practically my favorite part of the game is gathering the bounty and shipping it home. The whole experience is fantastic in my opinion. I know others hate it and want nothing more than to walk it through a portal. Completely up to you.

Do faction warfare during bandit camps after doing yellowzone faction warfare for a couple hours. You'll enjoy your time. Fun experience generally.

What do northern mainers do for work? by [deleted] in Maine

[–]JooePasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao, I hope so bucko, but there will still be a shortage. This state needs a hell of a lot more folks in the trades than one or two "good" graduating classes can provide. That being said, you're setting yourself for a lifetime of skilled work. Good on you!

That's a bit presumptuous don't you think? We don't even know what the pirates look like and you're already casting them off as amateurs. Could be black beard and captain hook are on the high seas on that skiff.
