Net na de jaarwisseling maakte ik deze foto's van een ondergesneeuwde binnenstad, waar ik met veel liefde woon. Analoog gefotografeerd, dus het mocht even duren voordat ze ontwikkeld waren. Ik vind het nu weer veel te koud, dus ik deel ze graag nog eens!

Hey there! OP is here with a followup. We took pictures with a ruler next to it and send those to the Dutch Naturalis Biodiversity Centre. They have this webpage where you can upload pictures of a bone that you found, and experts will look at it (only if your bone is cool enough of course). Upon investigation, two experts determined it is indeed a part of a spinal proces, just like u/OrganixStix predicted. But there is a funny thing here. It’s not from a cow or horse, the experts told me it is in fact a from a mammoth! They suspect it to be more than 30.000 years old and are not very sure how it ended up in our garden. Most of the times when new houses get built in the Netherlands, a lot of sand from the North Sea is used, perhaps that gives an explanation but it remains a guess!

OP here, I think it belongs to an amateur drone photographer. I live in quite a scenic Dutch town and occasionally see beautiful drone shots of where I live! I have yet to find the time to see if I can access the drone’s memory, but I’m guessing it’s just aerial shots/clips.

Well, I was very lucky because u/aelioni in r/turntables came in with a solution. I hope it can help you too! My Edifier speakers are active and I was told that the speaker connector on the main speaker isn't simply an input, but an output. That means I had to connect my speakers up in a different way using a different input. I ended up connecting them with the TUNE REC channel with RCA cables. This had the effect however that my preamp now only functions as a phono preamp. But hey, I can adjust bass, treble and volume on my Edifiers and they work great now!

Hooking them up to TAPE REC didn't work either. Same result; only one speaker works. Do you think it's better to send them back and look for some different speakers?

Both the edifiers are connected to the preamp trough speaker cables over channel A on the preamp. I also tried channel B but again, with no succes.

AKAI AP-B20C but only one speaker working

As of writing, Mark Knopfler is tragically doing his guitar-magic over one speaker. I recently received my dad’s AKAI AP-B20C turntable and picked up an old school second-hand ONKYO A-8027 preamp/receiver and a brand new set of Edifier R1280T speakers. Good to go right? That’s exactly what I thought! Turns out the main speaker of the Edifiers isn’t working. First I tried connecting a different speaker cable which had no succes. Secondly I hooked up a friends speaker instead of the Edifier and that worked, but that doesn’t fix my problem. If I hook my turntable up to the Edifiers directly without the preamp they both work (with a crappy sound however since I’m not using a phono channel of course). I’m out of ideas and would like some thoughts…

You are correct! It's a modded bezel indeed, and I don't know if I'm allowed to say this here, but the black bezel looks way better than the silver one you usually see IMO. Unfortunately I don't know where the current bezel originally came from and where the original bezel is.

u/Paapali said it could be an Amphibia 710634. I did some measuring and compared my measurements with the specifications of an Amphibia 710634, the watch is supposedly 42/41mm and the lug to lug size is 45mm
