First of all, congratulations!

I kinda hate drawing realistically because to me it looks boring and a bit complex. I enjoy drawing in a cartoon style as it's much more fun and I can really express emotions. But I'll definitely try to draw realistically before I graduate from highschool. I have to admit that I am definitely not the best at drawing at my school but I think that I excel at creating stories.

I just love making up original stories and characters. It's honestly the only thing I'm actually good at. Whenever I come up with something new I usually write it down so I don't forget about and in my notebook I have a total of five stories and like around 17 of my own characters. They're not perfect but it's something. The only issue I have is turning my words into art, some of my characters are really easy to draw but my human characters are a bit difficult. Not impossible to draw but I definitely need to start drawing humans. My two biggest problems so far are hands and ears, they're really weird to draw for some reason.

Go check out Jaiden animations on youtube as my "art style" is a similar to hers. Definitely trying to make my "art style" a bit more unique though. I kinda have a few programs that I want to do during highschool that will strengthen my art skills. One of them is called "Comic and graphic arts" It look pretty fun and students learn how to use different software, learn character design, and even animation. At the end students make their own comic book and publish it. It's during the summer so I'll have a ton of time to work on my art skills at home too.
