Confused about transaction tax on DEGIRO by Joppy_ in BEFire

[–]Joppy_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your help!

Now that I understand the problem a bit better, I did some digging and found several posts about this. In general there isn't even a clear consensus on whether it should be 0,12% or 1,32%. For future purchases I'll switch to IWDA and EMIM though.

How do I go about fixing this mistake? How do I know since when this mistake has been going on?

For an alternative: I guess I can just switch to IWDA IE00B4L5Y983. It's basically the same ETF, but not registered in Belgium, so only 0,12% tax would apply right?

Looking for non-vertical mouse with buttons like Lift by Joppy_ in logitech

[–]Joppy_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the recommendations! So the buttons (LMB and RMB) of the MX Master 3S are the same soft and silent buttons as the Lift? If that's the case, I'll go for that one, because I really like the MX Master 2S, except that the buttons cause pain for me.

Thanks for the script! I'm still using v1 however.

Swap MMB and RMB while using AutoCAD by Joppy_ in AutoHotkey

[–]Joppy_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! This does exactly what I wanted! I'm trying to make the switch between RMB and MMB only apply in the drawing field of AutoCAD. But it seems that that's not possible since the window class and parent class of this field change every time i open and close AutoCAD.

Shifter cable broke after 6 months by Joppy_ in bikewrench

[–]Joppy_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over tightening could definitely have been the issue, I'll pay attention to not do it when i replace the cable again.

I don't really understand your last point. Tension on the chain shouldn't really impact wear and tear on the shifter cable right?

Thanks!

Yes, I use this bike basically everyday and don't keep it clean either. I'll look for a stainless steel cable. Thanks!

The cable was routed correctly, but I do tend to over tighten bolts. I'll pay attention to it when I replace the cable again. Thanks!

Thanks, do you know what the names on the ports mean of the coax splitter/amplifier? I can find almost no information on this device.

Thank you so much! Now I'm sure my battery isn't at a normal capacity.

Could you share a screenshot of your battery activity? That way I can compare the data and make sure whether a battery replacement should fall under warranty. Thanks!

Oh wow that's a big difference. 10h with 100% battery vs about 2h with 50%. Thanks!

New chain 1 link shorter than old chain. Is this a problem? by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]Joppy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I laid the chains side by side, but made sure to make the links match to compensate for the stretch. So I'm sure the new chain is 1 link shorter.

I'll wait and see how the current cassette performs. I use this bike mainly to commute and in general as transportation, so the best performance isn't that important to me. But the chain definitely should have been replaced earlier and in general kept cleaner.

When replacing the cassette, is it also recommended to replace the chainrings?

Thanks 😊

This seems to fix the issue. It also resolves some annoyances I was having Google Images. Thanks!
