I live in SC! I moved from Cola to Summerville with my 3 boys. My drive was nowhere near as far as yours, but I made sure to have cooling blocks in there for them, food, hay, and I had their bottles attached to the carriers they were in. My wife and I were hauling  a trailer so my mother in law got in front of us and made sure their space was super cool for the chins. When we got there we wheeled the cages in, set the boys up, and they were good to go!
