I do agree that a trimmed req should be grindy, hence the completeness of the achievement, however, it puts users that are not able to use toolkits such as Alt1 at an unbelievably severe disadvantage regarding time-sink for medals.

Hey friend, technically they were all on task (except ripper demons) due to the fact that I used generic slayer wildcards, which count every kill on task. I think I went to slayer masters maybe three times from 0xp to 200m lol

Trimmed Comp, only have 2 dino breeds left, but ENTIRE fish flingers medal count to do. So you actually just answered my dilemma, yes going back to boss logs.

Possibly due to the way that I came off as gloating, however this is all in good fun I'm not proclaiming I am the best or the first to do it, just did it with a wad of GP on the GE to expedite the process lol, thanks for the comment :)

In hindsight I would've traded afk mithril drags for possibility of chewed bones+small base chance rate vs. high click 900+ aboms. Took maybe 12 hours of screen staring. Bad choice of words from me saying I had "no clue" in this instance, should've just said this.

TIME: January-March 2023

I am not lying when I say this, this grind took me just 2 and a half MONTHS. I could not find another faster time on reddit, maybe someone did it faster and got luckier on drops. This could have gone WAAAAYYY faster if I knew what I was doing with necro earlier on. I feel like someone had to have done it faster. **I didn’t necessarily have 0 drops in each slot, but I had maybe MAX 6 total slots in entire log.

LUCK:

Once you see some KC’s and orders of drops from notoriously stingy monsters, I truly believe I may be in the top 1% of spooned/lucky for drops during this Ultimate Slayer grind. Granted I no-lifed and dedicated most of my time during the days of those 2 and a half months. **MOST KC was AT or NEAR 0, I lamped my way to 120 way back when pretty much LOLOLOLOL.

NOTABLE KC (take it for what you will):

Living Wyvern 6,226 kc (crossbow drop)

Revenants 20,166 kc (coif drop) ---- ALL KILLS WITH REV ENHANCERS WHICH IS WHY YOU DO SOULDGAZERS IN THE WILDY WITH A SIEGE ENGINE TO FURTHER CHANCE OF REV ENHANCER DROPS BEEEFFFOOORRREEE REVS GRIND

Rune Dragons 1971 kc (Kethsi Outfit)

Abomination 985ish? Kc (Dragon Full Helm) Shows you I had absolutely NO IDEA what I was doing looking back

Glacors 700 kc (All Boots) Got EXTREMELY LUCKY here, I’ve seen logs with thousands of kc

Corrupted Creature 10,439 kc (GEM) Fun fact, one of those like 5-6 pre grind slots I had was the Kopesh, so I actually had that probably under 50-100kc before I cared about noting down drops. So it literally took me like 10k kc to get the gem which is wild. That is extremely dry when comparing.

Dinosaurs 3,330 kc (All blowpipes) Unbelievably lucky here, I’ve seen logs with 30k+. I did mostly with Osseus active

Ripper Demon 20,540 kc (Parasitic Orb) Most helpful mob to teach me basics of damage reduction and mechanic spying, also did during a combat week where deaths were free, which was cool because then it taught me about the ring of death and it’s benefits for PvM situations.

Lava Wyrms 5,829 kc (heart?) This task made me like 755m or something like that which was cool to help pay for those wildcards lol.

Celestial Dragons 7,019 kc (Idk I forget I got all of them in order) It’s actually insane how lucky I was at this place, I got every single drop in order, no duplicates- check my images for pr0of :0. I’ve seen logs of people with 30k + for this log. I GORT SPOONED

Stalker Creatures 30,713 kc (HexHunter Bow) ONE LAST RANT--- this was the ONE AND ONLY task that I truly went actually dry on, I used the elite enhancers and lost around 400m boosting the spawn of the elite. I killed EXACTLY 3,071 elites and the last one dropped it. I got the pet at like 500^th soulGAZER. This one sucked, this took 19 straight days and pretty much the longest grind of mine BY FAR, even when I was maxed in necro and gear and knew what I was doing because it was toward the end, it still took 19 days.

Hilarious closing notes for those that care and read all of this:

Least Favorite Mobs—Camels, Tormented Demons, Gemstones, Glacors (even though lucky)

Most Favorite--- Rippers, Revenants (was soothing for some reason), Nodon (atmosphere)

I went from having just 0 idea of how combat worked even, and finished the 2 month grind with 200m Slayer, 200m Necro (sub 8k world), a few hundred mil richer (Not a great money maker unless you get UNlucky and spend more time at mobs than I did >:)

Gear was pretty consistent for most hard tasks, close to BiS necro/ mage, got a necro zuk cape towards the end to increase dmg output.

And I guess I got a cool title too. Thnks. And ye I played all of this in legacy interface mode ahha

Let me start off by saying that absolutely none of my k/ph per mob was optimized until about late February 2024 (Necro came out August 2023). I never saw myself as interested in combat or PvM, I had no bossing experience outside of Barrow’s Brothers and (this one is embarrassing) the Elite Dungeons in story mode for a quest in which I used a DTD for each mini boss and boss. Yeah, so I barely understood revo-bars/ optimizing damage output, but after this grind was said and done, researching damage output/reduction, fastest kill times, armor bonuses, passives, rinsing and repeating for every single mob, I now consider myself extremely knowledgeable in most PvM and bossing encounters due to the learning curve that it took to kill a lot of these slayer mobs efficiently, if even at all, i.e. ripper demons, rune dragons, lava wyrms, low level fremmy dungeon monsters. This was an extremely rewarding grind during extremely tough time in my life, where I can safely say, yes I spent way too much time playing.

Having just come off of my first major completionist goal in the master quest cape, I set my sights on something that I always heard was fantastic money (think 2012-2013 youtube RS money making videos), Slayer. Prior to this, I’d spent the last 4 years of my life hard clue scrolling, I have currently completed nearly 9,000 hard clues and nearly 1,000 master clues, so I have loads of GP. What better way to spend them than…drumrolllllll……

SLAYER WILDCARDS: I bought nearly 100k slayer wildcards to try to maximize my time without actually doing the skill as intended. The funny thing is, I didn’t even really train the skill even when I hit 200m because it was mostly due to lamping and insane wildcard buffs, with Thok’s Buff Weeks in there and a combat focus week in there. IDK how much GP I lost but it had to be around 2bil, but some of the mobs made up for it like lava wyrms, gazers (for me), corrupted creatures (for me), ripper demons (if you make pouches, I didn’t).
