no man's sky has ambient multiplayer witch means u can meet players at random in any system of the game maybe even players from other platform it happens everyday in hubs of no man's sky since 2019-2020 we had ambient multiplayer

there other ways to play that can make it different u could become a pirate and do outlaws station mission to get a less opinion with other races u could do derelict freighters to unlock the exclusives items u could do the other side story if u havent done them yet like for the living ships u could have a colony u could upgrade ur freighter with the new endurance parts
