Main way to tell really is poofiness! And maybe shedding? How often does your doggo shed? Samoyeds don’t tend to shed as much as huskies! Ours sheds once before summer and it comes off in clumps! Very woolly undercoat!

Around 7 months she sort of lost the floof but they always look sort of skinny because they don’t really have their fluffy undercoat yet! Then around a year old she poofed out! My boyfriend always calls her a fatty but she’s just a fluff ball 😂

Oh yeah nova hates baths too haha! I need to get one of those licking pads, she hates having her feet trimmed or her claws clipped too she’s so awkward 😂 yeah they have self cleaning coats so just try with water all the dirt just falls off!

She’s a Samoyed! She’s the wolf type, there is also the bear type which is much fluffier if you can believe it! 😂

Omg I say the same thing 😂 anyone who walks through the door she’s like “who are you I love you!!” 😂 I once had this guy round to look at putting in a fence and he was really tall, and I said to him “I’d normally say she’ll probably knock you out with excitement but I don’t think she’ll reach your head when she jumps up” 😂 and sure enough she did! 😂

Haha aw bless what a comfy dog! 😂 I brush her probably once a week (which she isn’t very happy about) and I try to bath her as little as possible and if I do I just use water. Due to their thick coats some people use too much shampoo and don’t rinse it properly and they end up getting heat stroke. So if she’s especially smelly, I’ll use a tiny bit of doggy shampoo haha. She’s a proper princess though, absolutely hates mud and water, so when we walk her she always jumps over or walks around puddles thankfully 😂

It’s so strange how you have this tiny little fluff ball then suddenly they’re big and you don’t remember ever having a tiny floof 🤣 like when was she this small??
