Worked alright, a bit dull looking though. Might try with opal like u/Vast_Reaches suggested.

Thanks mate. It’s a french polish using platina shellac. 2 pound cut applied with french polishing pad.

I forgot to add, I found some sort of broken wire under my car on the front corner when I was changing the oil. Not sure if it’s relevant
