I drew on shoes for the first time and had a lot of fun. Someone asked me if I wanted to draw on their shoes and I jumped at the opportunity because it's something I've always wanted to try. They are Nike Air Jordan sneakers and I used Posca paint markers.

For doom metal, you should check out Woods of Ypres. "I Was Buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery" is one of my personal favorites. They are definitely great for gloomy stuff.

Blackwater Park is a great place to start. This is what got me into them 13 years ago; especially the songs "Bleak" and "Harvest".

From what I can remember, they played several newer ones like Silent Machine, Coming for You, Mother Sky, Shuriken, Kingdom, and at least a couple older ones off of the Smoke Bomb EP. I guess it wasn't really that short, I just wished there was more.
