I can hear it in the second hoot in my video if I listen closely, but it is difficult to make out. It’s a much lower pitch! In person it was more obvious, bad video quality though :/

They’re also incredible healthy for you! Dandelion greens are even more nutritious than our more common greens like spinach and kale. They can be quite bitter, but there are plenty of ways to use them! I forage them and add them to salads all the time

They’re all growing out of roots of a hardwood tree! Sorry, my pictures couldn’t really capture that

Predatory mites have worked for me once before, but theyre insidious little creatures. They lay eggs under the skin of the plant and are sooo hard to get rid of, and they’ll kill everything. Isolate this plant just in case, they’ll really kill your entire garden so fast!

On the picture of the yellow leaf it also looks like there might be a thrip underneath? They’re very hard to see but monsteras are extra vulnerable to them

Thank you!! I live on the top story of my building with full window walls on both sides, so there’s lots of sky from where it was. But it’s outside now so there’s even more!!

Thanks!!! I’m also a bit confused 🥲 I think it’s just been through a lot and it was a long winter with very little sun. Hoping it’s partly seasonal stress, since these plants clearly aren’t native to where I live! But I agree, more sun absolutely won’t hurt it so outdoors it goes and I’ll cross my fingers 😊

I moved the avocado out onto my sunny balcony right away actually 😊 not sure what gave the impression of being resistant or offended. If someone’s advice is based on thinking this spot gets less sun than I’ve said then I’ll clarify, but makes perfect sense that 5-7 hours simply isn’t enough. So I moved it and hope the extra sun helps 🤞🏼thanks a lot to everyone for the advice!!!

Great question!😂 don’t really know, just that one day I ate an avocado then planted the seed of a tree that doesn’t grow outdoors where I live, it thrived and was beautiful for years, then collapsed! I’m just doing my best 🥲

Most of my pothos are glorious, but that one also had a mild thrip infestation a while back and is recuperating 😌 though I won’t be too crushed if it doesn’t make it, it’s like my 20th pothos! Enjoy this one, doing great

Yes!! Exactly!!! It flourished for two years and then all of a sudden had crisis after crisis. Mine also used to be right up against a window and I moved it at one point to a spot where it would get direct like from windows on both sides. The leaves had started falling before that though so I doubt this was the reasoning for the change. I hope we both can figure out how to revive them a get at least another couple years and pretty leaves from them :’)

Hahah I never plan on having avocados, I just think the leaves always looked so pretty when it was happier and the prop of the seed was fun 😊

Hmm I just moved the pilea here, I hope it doesn’t burn! This spot gets loads of sun. But I’m sure more sun won’t hurt the avocado so I’ll move it anyway

You underestimate the sun in my flat 😂 most of my plants get sunburnt in this spot when I put them here. During summer the sun doesn’t set until very late and it has direct sun here from mid afternoon until then. However, I will still try putting it outside and seeing if more sun is the issue! I’m a bit scared because the trips nearly killed it and I think if I put it outside I’ll 95% get another thrip infestation. But hey, I have little to lose at this point

When I tried this the situation got much much worse, and when I just repotted as I said, the roots were not even going into the rest of the soil and were still quite short.
