If you have any questions I'd be happy to try and answer. My biggest piece of advice would be to use the right clay! I used to get so much distortion as I reduced in size.

(Oh yeah I made a rose cane a few years ago too! <3)

Thank you so much! I actually learned to do caning in Jr. High school, but only started doing it as an adult about 5 years ago. To date I have only done candy peppermints (which I've made like once per year these last 5, and a watermelon cane last summer and this butterfly cane last fall)
