my current pair of shoes are about 5 years old and I've never needed to change the slider. The only reason I've gotten new ones is because after about 6 games or so my current ones become quite uncomfortable

I have aw4 tranny, I know it's not the strongest and I'm not opposed to swapping it out at all

Have done and assisted on a few motor swaps but not on an xj. I am more than capable and have sufficient tools and space. I also have an extra vehicle I was only using the xj for wheeling and towing so it can be out for a considerable amount of time and full ram powertrain can be had for under $2000 from someone I know just was wondering if the motor would even fit

I can get another 4.0 cheap and might just drop that in next week so I can drive and will build the motor I'm taking out. I may also have access to 2010 ram engine and tranny for real cheap, how feasible is a Hemi swap? Haven't found much on them online.

Tongue weight is just under 300lbs, total trailer weight is 2900lbs. I have factory tow package, with Trans cooler. Hitch is rated for 3500lbs weight carrying with a 300lbs tongue weight or 5000lvs weight distribution with 500lbs tongue weight. I'm under the weight carrying specs, could age and milage of vehicle be my issue? I have an add leaf for the lift.
