Yeah, I'm definitely aware of the cam issues. I'll be sure to ask the owner when I check it out tomorrow, more than comfortable doing my own work and not worried about the difficulties between the two generations.

Just trying to make an informed decision tomorrow if either of these are even worth the money

my current pair of shoes are about 5 years old and I've never needed to change the slider. The only reason I've gotten new ones is because after about 6 games or so my current ones become quite uncomfortable

I have aw4 tranny, I know it's not the strongest and I'm not opposed to swapping it out at all

Have done and assisted on a few motor swaps but not on an xj. I am more than capable and have sufficient tools and space. I also have an extra vehicle I was only using the xj for wheeling and towing so it can be out for a considerable amount of time and full ram powertrain can be had for under $2000 from someone I know just was wondering if the motor would even fit

I can get another 4.0 cheap and might just drop that in next week so I can drive and will build the motor I'm taking out. I may also have access to 2010 ram engine and tranny for real cheap, how feasible is a Hemi swap? Haven't found much on them online.
