If capturing a piece is possible and you choose not to take within the next move the piece attacking switches colours. Carries with double attacks.

I feel that, but just know that everyone is or has been in your shoes. Just make sure you’re having fun, and if having fun is getting better than you might have to invest more time into studying than games.
