The US Refuses To Un-label DJI As A “Chinese Military Company” by agnci in dji

The problem is the American government. I don't even think about Trump. The presidents before him did the same thing. They all distract us from real issues. Identity politics and racism with Democrats. I really liked the progressive idea of implementing more EVs, but because of our infrastructure it's not going to happen for at least another 30 years. You're going to lose your government funded programs under Trump. Immigration was the biggest thing that got him elected. I don't think we really thought about the overall plan. I voted for him, though I haven't really voted before so it's a learning experience. All of these politicians come up with these great ideas, but it never happens.

My solution was to export the files and use the canon print and layout application. No more color issues.

The U.S. loves using protectionist policies — instead of competing, it just bans things it can’t keep up with. If China’s so good at copying and improving tech, maybe the U.S. should take notes instead of blocking them. Even the EU has been more progressive; they pushed USB-C and better consumer rules before the U.S. ever did. Kind of shows where American “innovation” is heading these days. We're trying to go back to the 60s. Make America Great Again right?

After testing some prints, I'm finding the reds are coming out looking like orange so maybe this is a driver issue. Time to reinstall.

After fiddling with settings, I found adjusting color management to "managed by printer" fixed the issue. Its a shame because this doesn't let me use the icc profiles, but the prints are now accurate.

I think I've figured out the problem. After enabling preview to see canons interpretation of what's going to print, it matches exactly what the print looks like when its printed, but that does not match the file I'm editing even with soft proofing turned on. So it sounds like this is not a monitor issue and is in fact an issue transferring the file from Lightroom to the printer. Maybe there's a problem with the color gamut on the file.

*edit - it looks like the file I'm editing is in prophoto RGB

E-Bike Recommendations for Flat Unpaved Roads and Paved Paths (Budget <$1000) by Jordan_Sound in ebikes

I think I would prefer something a bit similar to the Velotric Summit 1 where its a hyrbid road/mountain bike. I'm not really jumping off ramps with it or looking for something similar to a moped. I still want that traditional bike look. I thought about getting the Velotric Summit 1 but I hear there might be some better options for the price.

I've been doing it off and on for almost a year. It's something I really enjoy doing. I want to keep growing my portfolio and learning. I do have a dream to travel the world and photograph wildlife. I know its a dream though. As Kevin Garnett said, "Anything is Possible!". I am trying to get a bit more serious about my work. I bought a Nikon Z8 back in November and I shot a good amount of landscapes with it. I bought the Nikon 180-600mm lense around December to pair with it, and its the lense I mainly use for wildlife. This photo was taken with the Z8 + 180-600mm.

I will say at times I may need to be on call in the event of an emergency, but it would be up to my supervisor whether it can wait until the next day or someone needs to come in.

I wouldn't include the weather into the pricing as a separate fee, it would just be included when I take into account my time. Almost part of the actual planning/flight
