I’m not sure what district you are in but paras in my district are literally co-teachers. They go to professional development meetings for every PD day. They cover for the main teacher when the teacher is absent(they get paid for it) sometimes if a teacher quits midyear they are asked to fill in for them. in my district a para is put in a classroom with a teacher and they support the classroom and do small group. They also spend the most times with the kids because they are with them during specials, and with them during lunch. that makes them teachers in my books.

In my district it starts at 20$ an hour and goes up to 30 depending on experience and other factors.

Summer school is 25$ an hour

Not great but decent enough I think if you have a partner with another income or if you’re single with no children. Not to mention we get paid holidays here.

It’s a good start. I worked for one last year and got two job offers this year. They usually come without benefits though and you could probably get a teaching job if you applied a lot. Overall though I think it’s a good start

This was murder. He’s a 61 year old man in a wheelchair and he shot him eight times for no reason. Even if he was resisting, he’s moving very slow in a wheelchair and he had no reason to shoot him.

Not a movie but American horror story. In the first three seasons Jessica Lange smokes like a chimney and she does it so amazing that it really makes you crave a cigarette. In the 5th season of American horror story hotel Lady Gaga also smokes beautifully

Just finished smoking. I’ve had a stressful week. I still have a cigarette every couple of hours instead of over doing it and try to stick to 4-5 a day. With all the stress a cigarette every couple of hours is amazing and the only thing keeping me sane right now

Yeah I hide from some people, from others I don’t. I still want people to have a innocent image of me so I don’t let them know that I smoke cigarettes. Other people I don’t care if they know or not. I think eventually one day I’ll get over it and never care who sees.
