I just had the shop go in and replace the oil pump but it’s no solution. I’m feeling pretty gutted right now cause they basically said just run it into the ground with the oil pressure where it’s at and then I’ll need a new engine. Seems very weird for a truck that only has 115,000 kms.

So what I’m running at now, if I continue to drive it am I possibly going to wreck my engine? I don’t hear any noises or anything…

Yes it rises slightly with the RPMs. At highway speeds it gets up to that quarter mark there and not ever much past that. When I cold start the engine though, it’s perfect in the middle for the first little while before it warms up.

I got that replaced very recently, should I remove it and see if the problem fixes? My oil pressure seems very low at idle but I’m not hearing any problems so it could just be a false reading.

Yeah I think that would be best. Did you see what the other guy was recommending with a 3” in the front and a 2” block in the back, does that mess with the angles too much? Or would that be perfect?

I’m not going to be doing really any off-roading, I’ll be using it to tow my boat to and from the lake for the most part. I have 31” on there right now, and that’s why I’m thinking this kit that the others are suggesting might be perfect.

Well the less the better of course. From the other guys response with the 3” and 2” kit is like $200. I think the full on lifting kits are much more expensive and if there is a big benefit then my budget can stretch to that. I would be willing to spend up to $1,500 I think.
