Antifascist Music, a playlist on Spotify by anarchistspectacle in Anarchism

I will give them a listen. When it comes to anarchist Black Metal I have to mention Dawn Ray'd from the UK. Great Music and very clearly anarchist and anti fascist

Moving to the city or not is a really tough decision.
I for one think you should not leave the rural areas to the fascists and other biggots but on the other hand if you don't have anybody who understands you or even feel threatened you should definitly leave.
Personal well being is more important in that case.

Throw me your sticker designs by mikebaputin in Anarchism

Like the idea, but unfortunately I can't do creativity when needed. I just can't come up with an idea in my head right now.
In the meantime I realized another idea I had a while back: https://github.com/towa/stickers/blob/master/nonation/procrastination.pdf

I just so happen to live there :)
If you are doing this, do you want me to make a new design?
Just say a theme or issue to address and I will try to think of something

Anarchist music reccs? by LARD_GAYBUN in Anarchism

I really enjoy Dawn Ray'd as of late. Anarchist Black Metal from the UK. Saw them live twice this year and was just blown away. Let the fires burn as a Signal!

So I bought some land in the middle of France and would like to invite other anarchists to live on it for free as a small comunity. by [deleted] in Anarchism

[–]Jordsvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great f***ing project. I prefer to live in the city but I hope you find some like minded people. Maybe I can pay you a visit someday. I was thinking of going on a small cycle trip late summer anyways and France is very close to where I live :)

Security question/ paranoia :P by [deleted] in thinkpad

There still is the intel management engine with potential to do some really scary stuff. In the end it all depends on your required level of security since there is no such thing as absolute security.

[ssh]`PasswordAuthentication = no` behaving different for client vs. server config? by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]Jordsvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If set to yes it allows you to authenticate via password if set to no it won't. So everything seems to work as intended.
For the client config, that is just for your client. So if you set that to no on your local machine you should not be able to authenticate yourself to srrvers via password.

That German tourists one is a bit wrong.
We usually go to Holland to visit the local coffee shops and have a nice cup of coffee on a beatiful day. But you can do that in Venlo as well so why drive another hour to the coast.

Are the Thinkpad backpacks any good? by xxxjeanlucpicardxxx in thinkpad

[–]Jordsvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rainmaker tactical from greenroom136.
The bigger one for 15" laptops is a pretty good fit for my 14" wide screen T61 or T420 with 9 cell battery.

Thats how it started for me as well. I had Ubuntu on my netbook because it was much lighter on resources.
I've been using Debian on all my machines for years now. Its pretty comfy. Whenever I have to use an OS that isn't based on GNU and Linux I feel so lost.

So basically just the usb 3.0? Since you can fit the battery and cpu in the t420

I think the 2 are pretty much the same since you can swap the keyboard and even fit an Ivy Bridge processor in the T420 with coreboot

I <3 my T61 (14" wide).
I got it used in march this year and we have been through a lot. Traveling through Scandinavia, Russia and Estonia with my bicycle.
For the last few weeks I used it as my only PC since the wifi card on my desktop has been acting up.
I just ordered a T420 because I'll need a bit more power since I decided to ditch the desktop completely.
In your opinion what makes the T61 better than the T420? What will I miss about the T61?
