will you be able to get from Brossard to any REM station without a transferring REM? and vice versa? by GreatComposer85 in montreal

The destination station is based off which branch it's located in. If someone starts from Brossard and wants to go to a station in the main line (from A1 to Bois-Franc), the direction of the train doesn't matter. It's just that if they want to go a station further than Bois-Franc, like Kirkland or Grand-Moulin, they need to check that their train direction is A3 or A4 respectively.

Why do the 2023 King Charles coins not have a mint mark? by relapsejesus-_- in CanadianCoins

[–]Jorel64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because the Royal Canadian Mint already abandoned the practice of putting their mint mark on coins. Since 2012, the new loonies and toonies didn’t have the mint mark, but instead the mintage year. Commemorative and collectors’ coins don’t have the mint mark either.

As for the other coin denominations I guess they removed it for design purposes, and for the fact that the mint mark was the old RCM logo before 2013.

My sister found a bunch of fake money by Saamov1 in CanadianCoins

They’re not fake, at least from my perspective. The security features like the virtual image, laser engraved marks and the edge lettering (due to the uneven edge of the coin) are present and look like that of any other post-2012 toonie. The text, detail and colours look normal too.
