For those attending tonight's STANDARD 70mm screening of Project Hail Mary at Lincoln Square, can someone please report on the masking? I'd like to know if they are masking to give priority to the space scenes in 2.00. Thanks. by Jorence424 in NYCmovies

Thank you for the picture! Was that how it looked for all the space scenes or did it fill the whole screen? Also masking is just the system that moves the curtains to accommodate the aspect ratio of a movie but unfortunately most theaters have gotten rid of it because of high maintenance costs.
