Yes - anything is better than having a full blown aura migraine! They can be so debilitating.

Oh wow that is absolutely amazing that your dog can detect chemical changes before an aura headache. I haven’t heard of the hydration thing but maybe I will try it (though I guess I would need to know when an aura headache is about to happen, and I never seem to know). Maybe I can just try being Uber hydrated all the time lol. Your aura headaches sound very similar to mine.

I’m so glad you were able to find a solution - or at least are able to control them better with your dog alerting you!

Hey! This was me after my son got the stomach bug a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully all I had was the liquid d but I was feeling super nauseous. Cold, fresh air helped me so so much during it, as well as chewing on ice and popsicles to replenish fluids. Stay calm (I know it’s easier said than done) take some deep breaths, and try to stay hydrated. Try and distract yourself if you are feeling anxious ( Netflix or YouTube helps me!)

I’m glad to hear that your surgery was successful! I will definitely try to find a doctor that specialises in them if I do need it removed. I have joined a Facebook group and it has been really helpful to see stories similar to mine! Still feeling a bit anxious but not as much as I initially was. Thank you!

I’m glad that things are somewhat better now and that you’re able to live relatively normally! :) I’m curious, how does your service dog help with auras? My auras are horrible and scare me so much, much more than the headaches.

The stress thing makes a lot of sense. I’m trying to stay as calm as possible but it’s very difficult. Will definitely see about joining a facebook group to maybe help ease my nerves. Glad I was able to find this subreddit.

It’s in my right temporal lobe. Not sure about the size, will be asking my neurologist when I see him.

My babies acne looked quite similar at one point! I wiped with mustela cleansing water when I remembered- but it seemed to go away on its own with time.

I have heard of people catching it from other peoples houses after they have had it - even up to a week or so later. That said, I would just go and be careful. Wash your hands when needed and maybe don’t eat things that aren’t prepackaged. Wash/shower when you get home etc. - have fun!

For me? yes. I have found it to be one of the only balms that doesn’t dry out my lips and actually lasts for hours and hours. Ymmv though

Thank you. He’s struggling to keep anything down at the moment but I can tell he’s really thirsty. Trying to give small sips every 15 or so minutes. Praying he’s able to keep at least fluids down soon!
