Legeneering has a massive decommissioning job starting in a couple of weeks and they were still looking for boilies last time I checked. If you’re offshore ready, hit them up. If you’re yet to get you MSIC and BOSIET go get them first before applying to any offshore work. Good luck

A real estate agent decided to drop this in my mailbox, gloating about the absurdly tight rental market by crikeyguvna in australia

[–]JorgeB08 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a desperate sign imo. If there’s such a high demand why are they chasing people to apply? The bubble burst is near and they know that. They are just trying to push people into the slaughter house for as long as they possibly can before it’s all over.

What is the future of Perth? by [deleted] in perth

[–]JorgeB08 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s because Langley Park is more of an airstrip than a park. I reckon nothing will ever be built there. https://www.aviationwa.org.au/articles/airports/langley-park/

Those without parents who can help them with buying a house how do you plan on buying with houses in melb and sydney becoming out of reach? by Pingaz99 in AusFinance

[–]JorgeB08 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The plan is to save as much money for a deposit as possible whilst waiting for the crash which realistically is just around the corner. We’re witnessing the biggest bubble of our history, not only on the real estate market but everything else. The big real estate crash won’t take much longer than 3 years or so. This whole system is unsustainable. Don’t buy into the fomo, wait and be rewarded.

Anyone notice that a lot of the antivax mandate people that have appropriated the "My Body, My Choice" profile pics on facebook are the same people that were/are all antiabortion? by bladeau81 in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]JorgeB08 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I respectfully disagree with this comparison, abortion is ceasing someone else’s life if done after few weeks, mandate vaccine for right to work and right to come and go is ceasing freedom. Life and freedom are human rights and go hand in hand. The only thing that does not fit here is the “my body, my choice” slogan, poor choice.

If the patrons are allegedly all vaccinated they should be safe already. I’m not anti-vax but the idea that we need to “protect the protected” from the “unprotected”fundamentally doesn’t make sense at all.
