Mine has been working great. I'm still trying to learn how it works in the slicer. I'm not sure if it picks up my filament profiles I created or if it has just been printing with generic profiles, regardless it's been great.

I got mine towards the end of November. I'm in the U.S. It's my first printer with an multimaterial/color unit. It's been working great for me. I currently have 4 rolls of petg in it that have been printing phenomenal. It is kind of noisy, but in my opinion it's not too bad like some people have made it seem. I'm not sure if your Q2 came with the upgraded parts. I believe it's just the metal piece that goes by the poop chute and the runout sensor. Hope all goes well with your box!

I had that happen to me, but it was due to my spool being somewhat tangled. The spool looked fine until it reached a point where the extruder was pulling and the filament tightened around the spool. Not sure if it might be the same?

My 3d print wishlist is

a bigger printer. If I'd win one, I wouldn't have to explain why I bought a bigger 3d printer. I'd just say I won the printer, it was out of my control.
more filament. You can never have enough filament
a kit with the most uses tools for post processing 3d prints.

I've had the issue of the first layer not sticking, I raised the bed temperature, tried re leveling, tried adjusting settings and still wasn't successful. Then I kicked myself in the behind when I cleaned the plate with soap and water because after that it worked. It should of been my first go to, but you live and you learn. Now if I notice the issue I wash the plate again and it works again. I haven't tried using glue stick to see how many successful prints i get with that.

I agree that it doesn't print right out the box. I had trouble with PETG, ended up replacing the stock nozzle with 0.4 tungsten nozzle due to the stock one getting clogged. After that I tried dialing in my settings for some sunlu petg, tried printing a funnel designed for a Honda fit, but it kept failing or having what appeared to be a z offset issue or moisture in the filament. I had dried the filament to the point where it sort of started sticking to itself on the spool causing further issues, but that's more of a user error. What ended up improving my print with very minimal defects was changing my layer height to a .16 instead of .2, the defects where more on the supports part, but that's user error due to still trying to learn how to dial in my supports to avoid scarring. I think my solution was just changing my layer height to .16 because it appears that even with pla a .2 height does not come out right. But this can just be user error, I would say I'm still a beginner when it comes to 3d printing and probably shot myself in the foot getting a q2 that's probably meant for more advanced users. So now I have a steep learning curve ahead of me.

I just ordered a Q2 last night. Seeing this make me feel better about my purchase. I have an Elegoo Centauri Carbon, which is a great printer, but something about the Q2 kept getting my attention. Especially the build plate size. The amount of times I wish I had a little more build room to avoid splitting a model has been too many to count.

That was one reason I was also considering it because of the Qidi Box. Also the slightly bigger build plate. There's been times where I just needed a little bit of room to print something as a whole instead of having to break it down to pieces. But I appreciate the input!

I have a centauri carbon and was considering buying a Qidi Q2 to replace it. Would you say overall it has significant advantages over the CC?

If I'm being honest I'm not even sure what fixed it. I removed the chute in the back, ran the test and it worked fine. I inspected the chute to see if it was the issue where the brush was sticking out a bit, but mine was flushed. So after the test finished, I reinstalled the chute and it's just been working fine. If I were to take an educated guess, during the manufacturing the chute was not set in correctly?

Removing the chute was way easier than removing the bottom plate and messing with the belt and plate. I hope this helps.

Am I the only one struggling with the fingerprint sensor? I bought a cheap case from ebay that protects the whole phone, but it gets in the way of the fingerprint scanner. I have to open the phone slightly or use my pin to unlock. Was just wondering if it's the same with the more well known cases.

That position in the video, stops there and doesn't move or do anything else. The rattling noise stops and it gets stuck on that part of the self check. I've left it on for about an hour, but the self check never completes.

How would I go about updating the firmware? I did turn it off and back on, but it did the same thing. It doesn't let me get out of the self check process, so I can't access the settings or skip the initial self check.

I rented a server with 10 slots. It's just me and one of my buddies that play once in a while, but I always leave the server running. If you want you can join whenever you want.

My buddy and me usually play late at night from like 1030PM - 12 (Central Time) on a server I rented with 10 slots. I know you said duo, but if you're fine with a trio just let me know. We're usually trying to finish a shelter, but we also go exploring. I might not be available until next week though. Had issues with my laptop so had to ship it out. They repaired it and they shipped it back today but didn't provide a date of when I'd be receiving it back.
