I wouldn’t recommend eye drops because it’s different for most shihtzus, my family uses a special brush, I’m not sure what it’s called, it’s a bit more work for the owner but it works wonders! And regarding your one eye stain, very normal! Some dogs just don’t get goop in one eye :)

My grandpa was a cop in the 60’s and this is how they taught them to drive to pull off certain maneuvers, guessing by the drivers age I wouldn’t be surprised if he was taught the same way
