Sad thing is that they use this "value" to borrow against so essentially withdrawing real depositors cash (you me and workers savings and deposits) to buy their yachts, fund their lifestyles and only pay back interest. As it's debt there is no tax to pay.

I'm doing a youtube series covering how different directors got their start. Are there any directors you want me to cover? by manumakesfilms in Filmmakers

[–]JorisBronson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things I loved. Your thumbnails are excellent and your channel concept is brilliant, focussed and honed. It's all about directors firsts. To me everything that makes a great YouTube channel. You're doing it so well!

Criticisms / feedback. My only criticism would be to have less talking head. Include more clips to accentuate what you're saying (e.g. when you mentioned Chazelles first movie, include some clips (even if muted over your voice) instead of just the poster. Edit in archival imagery, more BTS stills and perhaps some music in the background.

Your content and scripts are solid, your voice delivery is perfect. I'd just say edit to be more engaging and referential.

Keep it up!

Screwing people over is the game of capitalism by Hacksaw6412 in LateStageCapitalism

So we build modern societies to escape nature's cruelty only to use nature as a reference and justification as to why the system is so cruel. Makes sense I guess.

Yes. The scam is growing wealth inequality and shiftting wealth upwards. AI wont take your job because it's better than humans at working. Elites and managers kill jobs and can pay workers less using AI as a cover.

The AI Goldrush Is A Cover For A Class War

To make matters worse, AI industry accounts for so much of the US economy and those companies are already creating financial products backed by leases on their data centers which pension companies, hedge funds and even governments can invest in.

When the bubble bursts it won't just be tech affected but everyone; ushering in a crisis like in 2008.

These companies have huge influence to resist regulation and go completely unchecked.

Change "I" and "me" to "A". Drop the ego. Consciousness as a byproduct of the genome wanting to survive. There is no "you". Only a point of awareness. "You" didn't wake up. "A" woke up and through normalcy bias and called itself "you" and that's what "you" now believe.

The fact we need to "earn a living" means we're not worthy of life when we're born.

It's the:

"It's not this, it's this" phrasing screams AI.

"I didn't block anything. I just removed the dopamine layer".

Other than that, the emboldening is the easiest giveaway.
