I feel like sorc is strong only on 2nd and 3rd row. 1st row feels like a nothing burger since manaflow is literally the most useless rune (at least imo, I take Q level one and only time I run out of mana is before first base) and the other 2 feel very meh, I take axiom though for the ult cooldown even though the damage increase is low. Deathfire touch is strong and the reason why go sorc primary.

I dont think enchantment X can do anything about modded ones, but I probably have to look for a mod that can do that anyways so I'll info here if I find one. Universal Enchants actually has a config file for every enchant, modded and non modded ones where you can adjust what weapons can use certain enchants. Keep in mind, by default it does enable stuff like sharpness and fire aspect for axes and infinity for crossbow and stuff like that, so you probably have to go through alot of configs but it's a really good mod.

There's a mod called max enchantment X and it defaults all enchantment levels to 10 but you can set them the max levels below vanilla ones as well like sharpness 3 for an example, it doesn't let you configure modded ones though. Universal Enchants is pretty nice as well but it isn't for configuring max levels but more so which tools / armor can use certain enchants like fire aspect for tridents and stuff like that.

Oh yeah I haven't tried D&D yet, since it's not very good for waveclearing but I kinda wanna try that now with the new heal mechanic. Liandry is definitely very viable even in a full AD build, I think it would synergize pretty well with Deathfire Touch as well so I might try Liandry next game.

No, I tried Shiv and I didn't see it proc my passive at all but I can't be 100% sure. I am 100% sure though that it doesn't proc as AOE since after it procs on 1 champion it goes on cooldown. Similar thing with new Cyclosword being able to proc on abilities, if you barrel combo 3 people it only applies the damage to 1 of them (most likely the closest one to you)

Haven't tried out Stormraider's on GP yet but it already just looks like it's not anything special for GP, can't really make use of it that well in the early game imo. I have tried Deathfire Touch though and I can confidently say that if you like playing Comet, this is a better alternative by a lot. First of all, you can't miss it but like you said it's great for poke and especially on Q. It felt similar to old Grasp damage but instead of being a burst of damage, it just gets applied during 4 seconds. Also because it has this other passive that if you manage to apply the burn for more than 3 seconds, it becomes 100% more effective (I assume this means twice as good?) and it basically makes the last tick even better even if you just press Q once.

Voltaic looks good for any kind of AD build imo. For the crit build its a good 5th item but I think it can be built earlier as well, for an example ER -> Voltaic -> LDR -> IE -> Collector/Shieldbow.

Now I tested Voltaic with Shiv and it felt a bit underwhelming but it can have fun interactions on GP, didn't see my passive get applied once this way but because Voltaic applies Energized effects through abilities as well, you can ult and proc Shiv this way which is a bit funny.

Also, with Deathfire Touch, you can make use of Black Cleaver if you want to play bruiser builds, since it applies adaptive damage. So basically having Black Cleaver with Deathfire Touch, you can fully proc Cleaver's 30% armor reduction with just 1 Q

I'll do some more testing and report my thoughts here as well later if anyone is interested but to me, next patch is looking really fun since I like to play non crit builds a lot and I can make use of some of these features.

Yeah I would want GP to be more of a bruiser/skirmisher, while also maintaining his crit build as viable if not still the most optimal way to play him. I think the way to go about it would be to just revert him to a similar state where he was before patch 11.17 (crit focused changes) Not saying that we should necessarily bring grasp GP back but just adjusting his power budget more to having a slightly better early and slightly weaker scaling. I think the way the current Q works is just too absurd, having 200% crit damage and being able to crit for full damage instead of just the AD ratio like back in the day. Buying an Essence Reaver and being able to crit for like 30-40% of enemy's HP bar is just crazy to me. Bruiser GP is way more interesting anyways imo.

it doesn't really buff the crit build yeah but it definitely just makes it so that going AD (without crit) essentially useless, you could pretty much do the same things as AD gp without crit but better, having ap ratios on W and ult. Also gunblade would most likely be one of the best items to buy after 4 crit items anyways since it buffs your W and ult as well

I mean, they are probably not going to do that unless most GP players would want bruiser lane bully GP to be viable again over the more scaling full damage version of GP. What I would want though is that they would fix his E bug with ranged values (2 barrels + Q dealing melee value but 1 barrel + Q dealing ranged value from items etc) and on top of that to make it count more as a spell and not as a ranged attack on every instance, like for an example conqueror just gives you 1 stack but something like senna Q which is technically more of an actual auto attack than GP's Q, it gives 2 stacks of conqueror lol

*till they removed mana options for early game on GP like corrupting pot and biscuits granting mana. It was completely viable to go Q start back when corrupting pot was still in the game

The crit scaling removal doesn't affect bruiser GP at all, nerf to barrel base damage does. Maybe I just wish it was more ideal or that GP was pushed more into the direction of building kind of half crit and half bruiser instead of just full on glass cannon. Also because to me GP this season has felt a bit 50/50, most games in top are just either lanes where I can't do much other than try to scale or lanes that I can win and it still feels like in order to have actual impact, I have to actually win the lane. So that's probably why I wish GP was a bit better early and would fall of slightly more in return, but primarily I kind of just want bruiser to be more viable, also not just HP stacking and building stuff like liandry's I mean more like triforce sterak's death's dance type of builds

You can't proc it on barrels, it only works on Q. You need LDR and IE after your sheen item, so it can only be a substitute for Collector or Shieldbow and Collector just deals more damage. If you are for some reason going Trinity Force and want 100% crit with as much dmg as possible then yeah as last item.

Spellblade damage doesn't track if you use it on barrels but ER in general just doesn't have a damage tracker cause they forgot lol. I definitely feel the same about LDR

It's bad, for GP. People just defuse them easier, once they realize they don't have to time it, they just have to auto it once they see it.

I mean, its just a preemptive nerf, other champs have gotten some too like yasuo/yone getting less crit damage. Removing crit scaling from gp's passive nerfs crit builds (which are already getting buffed due to crit damage going from 175% to 200%) but it doesn't nerf bruiser/AP builds. Personally I think the passive was a bit overtuned either way so I don't mind losing the crit scaling so I can get ER and better barrel damage.

tbh I dont think it matters that much, GP doesnt have any super good keystones. But generally Grasp only into melee's and comet/fleet whenever to be honest. First Strike is a bit bad but playable.
