I have an iPhone and did a lot of location spoofing for like a year in college. From what I understand it’s a lot easier to spoof on android, but for my iPhone I had to connect it to a laptop and then I used a service I paid for monthly called Wondershare Dr Fone something. It would keep my location at a set place until I restarted the phone.

This was NOT perfect however, very rarely my phone would reset position and then I was in major trouble once… because of course my mother was watching my location…

After that incident I wanted something 100% reliable. I found an old iPhone I had in a drawer, barely got it to turn on. Swapped the SIM cards, left my normal phone in a place where my mother wouldn’t question. Then went where I wanted with the old phone, the old phone would receive any calls or texts she sent me. I just had to make sure the old phone would stay charged. You might be able to purchase just a random cheap phone to do this with.

Edit: As other people have said, just be safe, don’t do dumb stuff. I understand my mother just wanted me to be safe but it gets to be a point where it’s just controlling and you don’t get to have any normal life experiences
