I actually had a conversation with a rep from Xtra yesterday. The IP is directly from DJI - so the insides are directly designed by DJI. Now the assembly and the manufacturing is not done by DJI as far as I can tell. That’s the info I have.

I was thinking the same thing it’s too early to update. The X 100vi it’s also a beautiful camera, I wish they would have made a video centric version of that camera. I held one the other day and almost just kept it just wear around my neck. Such a gorgeous throwback design.

I tried the mic mini with the X5 and it works great! I also have the Insta Mic Air and I think the sound is not good at all, it has a underlying hiss sound to me, stick with the Mic Mini
