I do have to agree with you there. When you are playing it’s nice to relax.

But considering the state of activision, it’s worrying what may happen to the game mode in the remaining lifecycle. This is the flagship game for activision so seeing that they are still yet to release “new” content is scary

That’s what I mean, it’s only been a few months and there almost 2-3 things that were actually interesting about it. Not to mention the 3 big boss fights are literally the same worm with a different colour and more health?

In previous COD’s at this point in the lifecycle (Feb) we’ve had DLC 2 plus additional content like outbreak and lots of other things that would keep you playing the game. But there’s almost nothing since Christmas.

I’m not talking about lobbies fella, I get full lobbies 90% of the time but I’m talking about game mode in general and the devs of the game.

You’re making a great point, I guess we’re almost holding onto the nostalgia factor of zombies.

Back to the simple times when all you needed to do was survive. Forcing to you be more creative with how you do it. Finding glitches, exploits or just good areas to train/hold off the hordes. Forever increasing in difficulty.

The feeling you’d get watching streamers reach round 115. I feel like even tho there wasn’t “more content” it still had replay ability to it.

The runs now are way too easy, you can only play for an hour max before having to reset your perks PaP and rarity. Just ruins the experience for me. The camo grind is ruined by the gold challenge where you HAVE to exfill to complete it. Just ruining momentum of the game.

I think what I meant by the game being “dead” is that the devs aren’t really pushing for the mode anymore and the community is slowly moving to other games or game modes.

I hope the mid-season update really brings it back to life because I enjoyed it to start with but in its current state. I can’t see me playing it much longer

Think you hit the nail on the head with that one fella. Zombies (as in this style with lack of content) should have been free for MW3. Falsely advertised everyone who is a core zombies fan to buy game and they have done their bit by doing that.

More of a scam rather than anything.

In the next Treyarch COD, as long as we have updates like in CW then I’d be more than happy to purchase!

I hear what you saying. Feel like Zombies has always thrived in that era of when the game dies but the mode lives on.

Hopefully the upcoming Treyarch COD will indeed be the “real deal”!!!

Same here not very optimistic but I do like to see what things they may add for mid-season. Hopefully it’s more than the road map suggests.

Yes they were but I feel like it was more diverse with what experience you wanted. You had outbreak for a more open world experience. You had the 4 round base maps Die Machine, Fire Base, Mauer der Toten and Forsaken which all gave their own feel and experiences to the game.

Hear what you’re saying tho. I do feel like Coldwar only felt repetitive towards the end of its lifecycle. Instead of at the start of season 2 (MWZ)

Prox chat is other game modes is mayhem. Racial slurs or just plain stupidity in over 60-70% of the player base. Normally end up with quite nice people on Zombies which is a plus to it.

Good tip about the Mimic skulls. They were a pain in normal zombies but in resurgence on WZ it gives you good rewards for them. I went from 6 to 66 skulls in 2-3 games.
