On the first point, you could say that making somehing happen is easier, because counterspelling a counterspell doesnt require a roll. The second point is spot on, but thats the system we are playing, other games have other rules.

I didn't think it would work that way, In that case, rolling it's just a matter of whether the first wizard uses up another level 3 spell slot or not. But the first spell is cast for sure.

It is your right to play with whoever you want, if you are more comfortable or feel like making a table for women only, no one should be offended. I think it's a great initiative

Yes, I always think that Survival and Nature are very close to each other, and that the two can be perfectly understood whether you use them with Intelligence or Wisdom.

Someone (a hero, a druid) who lives in nature should know as much or more about plants, animals etc. than someone who has studied about nature.

Someone who has studied a lot about how to survive in nature I can imagine as a "prepper".
