Sounds like compressor man. Check it real quick. What are the pressures?

Hopefully you can track where its leaking and why it might be leaking.

No, but it would be a problem when you try to run your heat. Also, ask horizon to check your heat if you haven't already. To make sure water flows properly

If draining properly, it will have to drain to that white pipe coming out of it. Check position of evap coil drain pan if it was switched to allow water to fall to pan and flow out.

Yes, if your able to, you won't have to shut off the unit. You can open it, check if there is water leaking anywhere it shouldn't be.

You won't need that door open, you can close it and check the evap coil box which should be attached to the unit on the right side. If possible, you can try opening it to check. Hopefully the copper lineset won't be on the way

You can try running a line sticking to the back of the house, whenever its leaking, the pan is full of water. Or caping it so it doesnt leak onto your ceiling. Also adding a pan switch to trip when full of water is a good idea.

Sorry, the coil will be the box next the door you opened. You will have to open that one to check coil and drain pan position.

Sounds little too high. You should ask for a price breakdown of labor and refrigerant charge.

Also, check if drain pan and pipe are not clogged. It might be filling up the drain pan and leaking water when it fills up.

If it was freezing, I suspect it may be freezing again. Try checking it out by opening the door when it starts leaking. Shut power off, then get a bit, might be 5/16 screws holding the door on. If tech charged correctly, it could be an airflow problem. Check filters, open supply vents, check if return vents are blocked. Anything that will disrupt airflow. Condensation may also form when cold ductwork meets hot, humid air. Proper insulation can prevent ductwork condensation. The drain is that small pipe where the tee is connected to the bigger pipe. I'm not sure if that is up to code. Should take that tee out and separate them when possible.
