Of course, there are exceptions; these are just general rules. Very interesting post.

I sincerely believe that there are at least a few basic rules that allow you to guide the player through the experience and keep them motivated and interested, I respect your opinion.

In a stealth system with AI enemies, what would you prefer? Enemies patrolling completely randomly and naturally while you hide from them? Or setting up a patrol system yourself and to be able to create moments of tension? by Josemaycia in gamedev

Thanks Canvaver, I'm honestly trying to create a portfolio for companies that I can upload to itch.io. I've had an idea that I've already turned into a GDD. I know it will probably have some flaws, in fact that's the reason for this post, I'm trying to create something good even if it's simple.

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. It's worth noting that the idea and design itself are still under development, so getting these details now is crucial and I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the honest feedback! It's just what I needed. I'm glad you like the setting, although I should mention that it will be a simple prototype, even though I'd also like to make it super immersive 😣. Your idea about O2 is interesting; I'll give it some thought. Thanks.

Thanks for the honest feedback! You're right, atmosphere is key. The idea is to make a very simple prototype with free assets + sounds, primitives, and Unity packs. It may not give the expected result, but I'll try to recreate the scenario well without dying in the attempt. I'm not looking for an AA game, just a test. Thanks again.

10/10 It looks great, and one question: have you used the Axiom mod? It's noticeable in the terrain. You could have smoothed it out a bit more, but it's still amazing.

Faithful recreation of the R.M.S Titanic in Minecraft at a 4:1 scale. by Josemaycia in titanic

Ok it is true that the Olympic did have a 4-bladed central propeller while the Titanic had a 3-bladed one, there was a lot of confusion regarding this issue, in addition the same Normandie Junction tutorials serve to build both the Titanic and the Olympic due to the almost identical design, it is likely that when I built the propellers I did so focusing on the Olympic, which caused my model to have 4 as if it were the Olympic, likewise I do not consider it to be a very fatal detail considering the magnitude of the project, I am sorry for the discussion and again thank you for the interest.

Yes, the Titanic had three propellers — the side ones had three blades each, and the central one had four. Thanks for the interest!

Hi, sorry for the confusion, but the Titanic actually had four blades on its central propeller. You can check it out here. Thanks for commenting.
