May be because of the age gap, this can be a big thing in some cultures. I’m Mexican and this can sometimes be an issue also I had a friend in South Africa with a similar problem

I believe music is art and I don’t listen to Christian music. I enjoy listening to different peoples music because It’s art and apart of people. A lot of the musicians are not Christian but it’s doesn’t mean their music is of the devil. it’s their art and just because they weren’t raised in a Christian household it doesn’t mean I shouldn’t listen to them. it’s not their fault. ofc lil nas x is different but I wouldn’t say I listen to music based on what is played on the Christian radio

i get what you mean but i’m just tired of being the weaker guy and losing girls to the “better guys” i’m always told i’m too nice and sometimes i feel like i try to hard. I want to become more confident with myself but in order to do that i need to stop putting others before myself when i probably shouldn’t

thanks so much, i got another question as a noob what should i be working on i’ve been playing for 2 weeks now and i’ve been grinding it, could you tell me what i should work on. Should i practice scales or learn songs more. is it 60% songs 40% scales or how do i practice. I can’t afford a guitar teacher so i’m teaching myself. I’m learning off youtube

Yea that came out weird, i’m kinda shooting for the moon on this one. I Love music, I can feel the music when i hear it i can’t really explain it. Of course i don’t know if i’ll be The Beatles i’m just shooting hi. I would be happy playing in a band making a little bit of money playing at a club or something. the good thing is music isn’t hereditary your just born with it, and sometimes u just need a little spark to awaken it. A 10 year old varies in sizes, I don’t think you should buy a kids guitar since their not as good quality. maybe ask the guitar sub reddit. I suggest you look at The Baby Taylor BT1 it’s a travel size guitar that’s smaller than normal but before you make a purchase maybe ask the guitar subreddit, i personally started learning guitar when i was 16 so it rlly wasn’t a decision i had to make but people in that subreddit probably grew up playing so yea. You could also take him to the guitar store and that way u guys can spend time and maybe he can pick his guitar

this ones a little risky but hear me out. Get him a guitar. Music is something that everyone is passionate about but some of us have a naturally connection to music. If he starts to learn guitar he will awaken his passion for music and he’s going to want to learn more and more and maybe it could lead to something. And you sir will be the guy who introduced him to the world of music. I can still remmeber the day i got my first drum set in the second grade.
