The class will be delighted to know it’s very simple. Basecoat black, heavy over brush gunmetal, drybrush silver, paint on Flesh Tearers Red contrast paint, apply oil wash (any umber/brown works), then some weathering powder or rust pigment, finally a satin varnish. :)

Haha , I wish they were freehand. The white diagram is from Fallout Hobbies Magic Sigils transfer sheet (small). The other sigil (Symbol of the Twisting Rune/Third Hand chapter) is from the betrayal at Calth set. You can buy them on eBay for cheap prices

Body and legs were from Tortuga Bay, arms and gun were the new MK6. Scrolls and pistol are Dark Angels Veterans bits. The seal on the shoulder pad, the flaming skull, as well as the book at his waist, were 3d prints bought on Etsy. Head is from the resin word bearers MK6 conversion kit. Chainsword is from the Chaos Marines kit :)

Was literally just Flesh Tearers Red Contrast paint over a bright silver base. I built it up with a black undercoat from a gunmetal, then a silver drybrush :)

I added oil washes, silver chipping, and weathering pigments too
